My partner and I enjoyed hanging out with our expert tour guide, Chisato, in Akihabara! She took us through various anime shops where we purchased figurines, collectible cards, apparel, and other merch. We also stopped at a few restaurants (including the maid cafe), so bring your appetite! This was my second time visiting Japan, so I'm still learning about Japanese cuisine. Chisato was so kind and helpful in explaining how to eat the food properly. Towards the end of the tour, we got to browse one of the arcades, and we tried our luck on the retro gaming floor with Jurassic Park and another shooting game. So, if you love shopping for the latest anime merchandise, playing arcade games, and eating super tasty Japanese food, this tour is definitely for you! I 100% recommend it!
A few helpful tips: We had difficulty locating the meeting gate when we arrived, but Chisato made her way over to us and ensured one of our travel companions successfully made it back to the station when the tour was over. Akihabara station is a busy spot, so we'd recommend leaving about 45 - 60 minutes early.

Our guide Hiromi was wonderful. She talked to us to see what we were interested in and then adapted the plans to fit our interests. We really enjoyed to stores we went to, the food stops were great. We had a delicious sushi lunch, we tried bbq which was amazing and also went to a maid cafe which was so fun and cute!

I have such a great experience. Everything was amazing. The food, the neiborhood, the anime, the arcade, etc. The Maid Cafe was something new for me!
Hiromi is a great guide. She made everithing happy and she always wanted I have a great experience.

You get a nice walkaround Akihabara. The tour guide was very professional and personable. You will get a good walkaround in the biggest anime mega store in Akihabara. The food you will eat is also amazing. The maid cafe experience is also cute and memorable. Just prepare ahead of time if you have diet restrictions.

We went on the tour with our group of friends and family our guide was Eugene. The whole tour was amazing Eugene did everything he could to make sure each of us got an experience tailored to our interests. The whole tour was one of the best and most informative that we've had. I highly recommend this tour especially if Eugene is your guide.

I had a wonderful experience during the Akihabara tour. My tour guide Yumi San was amazing and provided many interesting details about Japan. She helped me translate my Omikuji. :) I highly recommend this tour!

Wonderful experience around Akihabara. The guides Eugene and Mali were very knowledgeable of the area and history. The tour was catered to our needs. They worked hard to get what we needed. The restaurants we visited were top notch. Highly recommend the “maid” experience as it is something you really don’t see.

My son and I booked this tour to get a cultural feel for parts of the city we had not explored during our 7 day stay. Marin was the perfect guide for us. She gave us anime, she found a Japanese baseball and Pokemon card store for my son, she gave us a tour of the food markets close by and we had a great food along the way. This was a perfect tour for us as Marin was able to fit in exactly what we were looking for.
