We stayed 2 days and one night on the Ginger boat. A fantastic experience. The atmosphere on board is magnificent. Unfortunately the weather was not on our side but we will remember this stay with pleasure. The staff very attentive and professional. Delicious meals with excellent presentations.
Varied activities on board (squid fishing, island excursion, Thai chi, cooking class and kayaking).

We were just subjected to a 20-something guide with a viral infection for two days. Incredibly, he also cooked our food at the boat’s cooking demonstration—that he then sneezed all over! Truly. Wife and I both now have this a-hole’s infection. What a poorly run outfit. Never even crossed the fool’s mind to put a mask on. AVOID—you can do so much better.

The tour was brilliant, staff onboard are friendly.
Food choices are wide and the hospitality is reasonable. I am very delighted for this trip, and our tour guide named “Viet” pay close attention to everyone ensuring safety throughout. This is a 12 hours from hotel to Halong Bay and back so we are highly dependent on them.
Gentle reminder to future travellers: Remember to avoid buying the pearl accessories onboard the “Stella” I paid 50USD for a necklace and found them to be made of plastic and this was confirm by experts. I was kinda upset and felt cheated as everyone was kind onboard. This is the only negative comment I found upsetting.

Our family really enjoyed the Halong Bay cruise experience. On the ship we enjoyed a large private balcony, open bar at happy hour, an amazing bicycle ride to a lovely Thai village where we enjoyed a fish massage. I won’t explain-it would ruin the fun. Just do it! The staff on board was great. Special thanks to John, Danielle, Mac, Ngoc and Xenia. ! We kayaked and went to the beach. The meals were amazing and the staff dealt well with our dood allergies and preferences.

We were not sure to expect on this cruise but wow! Very luxurious for the price. Great cabins and food. The staff was very accommodating and friendly and since they only had 20 cabins it was uncrowded and spacious. Lots of amenities and activities available if you were interested.
We’d recommend the boat trip to the caves and a kayak trip to the beach.
All the cabins have a great view and soaking tub next to a window.
La Hang bay seemed to be a better alternative then Ha Long bay. Not as crowded and the numerous karsts were spectacular.
Highly recommend.

The ship is fantastic. The cabins are furnished with attention to detail. The bathroom with the bathtub facing the panoramic window is unique. The entire staff is very professional and friendly. Every wish is fulfilled. Heritage Cruises is fantastic and the best cruise I have ever been on.

Excellent cruise from start to finish. Amazing staff, all very helpful and friendly. Large rooms with great bathrooms and balcony. Excellent food and great cocktails. It is a beautiful bait with lots of space and great art. We did 2 nights 3 days, which I highly recommend. Only disappointment was the amount of rubbish in Halong Bay.
