This was one of the highlights of our trip to Perú. Cesar our guide was extremely helpful and pleasant. Our driver was very skilled. I would advise that you choose to ride a horse for the beginning of the climb, to conserve energy for later. Good lunch. Amazing views.

Can’t say enough about this experience! Cesar was absolutely amazing! Even though it’s a long ride from Cusco, the transportation was very comfortable and the views along the way made the time pass quickly.
The views of rainbow mountain and the surrounding area are like nothing I’ve ever seen! Absolutely incredible! Just as described, there was hardly anyone there by the time we reached the summit and we basically had the view to ourselves. Also, going later in the day means that the fog has burned off- better, more vibrant pictures!
We took the horses up part of the way for the experience, and it was a great time! The restaurant we stopped at on the way back had delicious food and very friendly and courteous staff.
The drive goes up very steep, winding dirt roads and our driver, Jose, was an expert navigator! We felt very safe with him at the wheel.

YES take this tour. Do you like getting up at 3 am? If so take another tour. If you're a normal person, this tour is better. Carlos was a great guide, mountain was beautiful and it wasn't crowded late afternoon.

From start to finish this trip was exceptional. Nayda was the warmest, kindest tour guide and dropped so much cultural knowledge on us throughout the drive and tour. Gustavo was laser-focused on the road during the drive. The small group size was perfect and made the day and the trip to Rainbow Mountain feel even more special. The restaurant at the halfway point was filled with kind faces and gorgeous scenery. The restrooms were clean, and the coffee and food were top notch. I would recommend this trip to anyone heading to Rainbow Mountain looking for a more personal touch. Nayda remembered all of our names and even shared the most delicious chocolate “stretch bread” from a local bakery we stopped by on the way. What a gem of a tour with two wonderful new friends, Nadya and Gustavo.

Wonderful day! Taking a break from early start times was refreshing- and well worth it! Considerably less crowded at the top of the mountain when we arrived. Nayda was a wonderful guide, and Donny was a great driver. Our lunch at the end of the day was fantastic! If you want to do Rainbow Mountain, this tour is the one!!

Fantastic experience! Nayda is an excellent guide. Super friendly and very knowledgeable. And after a day on the mountain we were treated to an excellent meal. Dony made sure to get us up and down the mountain safely. A+. Highly recommend.

This Tour was spectacular. We didn't have to get up so early and the whole trip was calm. The mountain was practically alone for us. My husband had problems with oxygen and Nayda, our guide, was very dear, waiting for him and giving him oxygen and encouragement to finish the journey. Nayda gave us very good instructions and explained the history of the place very well. Our driver Donny is very good, he made us feel very safe the entire trip, the place where they took us for lunch had delicious food. I recommend the Eyes Closed Tour. Thank you for making us spend such a memorable day.

Had a great time on this trip. We didn’t have to get up 3am like all the other tour companies. We left at 8am and almost had the mountain to ourselves by the time we left there. Nayda was a great guide explaining about the mountain and Dony did a great job driving us there safely and back.

Rhonald was an awesome and FUN tour guide for Rainbow mountain. He knows the history of the region so well which was fun to learn. The rainbow mountain was beautiful. Rhonald doubled as an amazing photographer. The lunch was at the cutest restaurant with delicious food. Our driver, Donis was great as well. Thank you for a wonderful experience. I highly recommend the later tour. Far less people at the top.
