The tour was outstanding and touched every corner of Stonetown. The highlight of the tour was my guide Mohammed O. Mohamed. He was extremely knowledgeable and filled me in with very interesting facts and answered my questions very well. His English was very good and the pace of the tour was perfect. Stonetown is a very interesting place and Mohammed made it even more interesting by filling me in with all the facts. I recommend this tour with Mohammed O. Mohamed as the guide to anyone looking for a great tour of Stonetown.

We were fortunate to get Ally Jape as our guide and he was PHENOMENAL. He shared interesting information on Stone Town accompanied with his opinions and commentary which was extremely insightful and stimulating. For every question we had, he shared an informed answer and opinion. He took his time to explain things and show us around without rushing. We visited various landmarks and learned far more about Zanzibar than we could imagine. Could not recommend this more, it was our favourite experience in Tanzania! Very professional and personalised experience!

I was happy to be guided through the town. I learned more on a tour then if I'd just walked around.
The information about the doors of Stone Town was intriguing. I also liked the slave trade information and museum. Being there brought my history books more to life albeit humbling.
I liked how my guide spoke of the culture of Zanzibar, as well.
I definitely recommend this tour!

Highly recommend this tour. Yusuf was an excellent guide, knowledgeable with a pleasant personality and very accommodating. The tour is quite comprehensive, main sites were included. Loved the break we had at the rooftop café. Had several magical moments during the tour. Was an amazing first impression of Zanzibar.

Our group of 7 had Irman. He was punctual, polite, courteous, knowledgeable, answered questions freely….. he is highly recommended. Definitely need a guide around stonetown. VERY easy to loose track of where you’ve been or need to go.

Had an amazing 2 hour tour with Imran, he provided a very high quality in-depth tour of the city, showed us a local mosque we were able to pray in, and was funny, knowledgeable and charismatic throughout. He was even able to recommend one of the city’s best rooftop restaurants for coffee. 10/10 would definitely use again, wish he could be a guide in every city!
