I had read mixed reviews before booking this excursion and was skeptical but gave it a shot. I am SOOO glad I did! Three friends and I (along with approximately 15 other guests) had the BEST time on this excursion! Shiva was our tour guide and helped make this trip extra memorable. She was charismatic, kind, and had a contagious smile. The entire crew on the catamaran was exceptional. The bartenders, food preparers, drivers, etc were all very kind, helpful, and went the extra mile to make the trip worthy of a 5-star review. I did not realize when I booked this trip (leaving out of Tulum) that it required a 2.5-hour bus ride into Cancun to get on the catamaran.... however, it was nice to have the 2.5-hour drive back to Tulum to rest and recover from the day drinking and time in the sun. The driver was great and the van had AC that worked great!

Boat and crew was Top Notch! Everyone was so attentive! The boat was very clean and looked brand new. The food was very tasty and the drinks were great! I have only one big complaint and that is I was unaware of the long drive from pick up to the port. I had no idea we would be traveling from Tulum to Cancun for this activity. The ride to and from was about 1 1/2 each way making this a very long all day trip. We left at 10am and did not get back until after 8 pm. We missed our dinner reservations due to this and spent over 3 hours in a van traveling to and from the port. Information provided and times were very misleading.

6 hours of bus travel for 3 hours on site…. A 20-minute bus pick-up, then 20 minutes late for the return when getting off the boat... no one answers the calls... no information on the content of the service. A guide supposedly in French and in fact Mexican. Dear paid paradise…

I think this would have been great fun had it not been for the weather. I really wish the company would've cancelled it for rain. I'm not from the area so when I saw rain forecast I thought it would maybe be pop up showers and figured if the entire day would have been rain, they would cancel. I mean, they would know better than me, right? No, they will not cancel unless the harbor master says no boats out. Even though I would have been out the money, I wouldn't have been out the time and irritation, so I should have not gone. Unfortunately, I've got a bad taste in my mouth for this company so I'll not book with them again. You can take a taxi to the harbor and take the ferry out and enjoy the beach. The shopping area they take you to is just like all the other tourist shopping areas in Mexico selling the same stuff for different prices.
Lesson learned: book last minute or take the ferry for much cheaper!

- If you choose to snorkel, you have to swim VERY far to get back to the boat.

The most memorable part of the trip was I never got to do it. We waited 45 minutes for the driver. At the end of the 45 minutes I saw a paper that he had left and had been there. He never called out out name and never got out of the van. He sent a text message to say he was there. My phone would not work without internet so I was unaware of the message. We paid $40 to a driver to take us to another meeting area and no one showed up so we spent another $40 to get back to out hotel. I was so disappointed as this was to be the highlight of my trip.

The tour was cancelled last minute after making full payment saying no transportation available.Since this was a full day trip we had made no other plans . It was extremely frustrating.
