We combined two tours to make for a complete day. Thanks to the team of Explore Egypt Tours. Our driver and tour guide Esmail was waiting for us at 11:00 am. Esmail was kind and willing to share not only about food in Egypt but about life in general and what Egypt is like. The food is authentic and often from tiny places that we would have never found ourselves, I promise you will not be hungry when you are finished. After this tour, we went to an amazing bazaar (Local Market) and enjoyed as much as we wanted, I highly recommend this tour to anyone who's looking to have a local food experience with the best possible guide. thanks to Yoma for organizing this so quickly,We felt safe and in great hands so we could relax and enjoy our time there. I had to thank her for making so many arrangements for everything on my wish list! Which included trying the Egyptian breakfast, and feeling like a local, which tasted amazing. I will order it every time I come to Egypt.😍

J'aimerais remercier Zahra notre organisatrice a organisé ce circuit gastronomique elle est toujours montrée tres disponible pour répondre à nos questions. Ismael , notre guide était expert et aimable, il nous accompange aux bons restautrants, Nous avons essayé des aliments originaires d'Égypte. Nous mangeaions Shawarma, Falafel, Kushary. Il nous rendre essayer le jus de sucre de canne aussi, expérience merveilleuse.

Tuve el placer de experimentar un Food Tour ofrecido por Explore Egypt Tours en El Cairo, organizado por Shahd, la operadora turística de la compañía. Del principio al fin, la gira estuvo perfectamente organizada. Se aseguró de que todo transcurriera sin problemas, desde las recogidas oportunas hasta los descansos oportunos entre degustaciones. Su atención al detalle fue evidente en cada aspecto del tour. Y debo decir que ha sido un viaje culinario como ningún otro. Desde las concurridas calles de El Cairo hasta las joyas escondidas de los restaurantes locales, este recorrido fue un festín tanto para el gusto como para el alma.
Nuestro conductor, Ehab, nos llevó a una variedad de lugares para comer, cada uno de los cuales ofrece un sabor único de El Cairo. Desde probar comida callejera tradicional egipcia como koshari y falafel (falafel egipcio) hasta disfrutar de postres exquisitos como kunafa y basbousa, cada parada fue una nueva aventura de sabores.
Nuestro guía, Mahmoud, no solo conocía bien la escena culinaria de El Cairo, sino que también compartió historias fascinantes sobre la historia y la cultura detrás de cada plato. Su pasión y experiencia agregaron una rica capa de contexto a cada bocado que tomamos.

È stato un viaggio davvero fantastico con mio marito. Ci siamo divertiti molto con la nostra guida Mahmoud, assaggiando il cibo straordinario del Cairo, bevendo tè alla menta in un bar laterale e acquistando souvenir dal meraviglioso bazar di Khan el Khalili.
Sono entrato anche nella moschea Al-Hakim, a Dio piacendo . La nostra guida Mahmoud ci ha detto che è uno dei mercati più antichi in Egitto. Mahmoud è stata una guida fantastica: competente, informativa e molto amichevole. Anche la nostra consulente turistica Mariem è stata molto disponibile e ci ha dato tutte le informazioni di cui avevamo bisogno per un fantastico viaggio al Cairo e ci ha consigliato questo tour. Consiglierei vivamente questo tour se avete qualche ora al Cairo.

Thanks to Yoma for organising this and Mahmoud, our great tour guide. We enjoy food tours as a fabulous way to get around and familiarise us with a new culture. We were picked up on time from our hotel and came back safely 6 hours later. Lots of different foods were sampled, we strolled around with the guide between places and were picked up by the driver again to see the market and mosque. Central Cairo is very busy with lot’s of people and traffic and noise, but that is what we came for. The food is authentic and often from tiny places that we would have never found ourselves. Mahmoud gave us the background and it was all very relaxed. Just what we needed on our first day.

Explore Egypt Tours have been fantastic and made our holiday truly memorable. Mariem (Tour Organiser), was very good at updating us and communicating everything we needed immediately. Samaa (tour guide) was fantastic, sharing her cultural insights and providing us with an interesting tour of Cairo city life. The food experiences were great. I would highly recommend this tour to immerse yourself into life in Cairo.

We thoroughly enjoyed our food tour through Cairo with Mahmoud. We had four street food stops (all great) plus a relaxing stop for mint tea when we had a chance to quiz each other about local life in our respective countries. It was fun observing daily life in Cairo while walking to each food stop. The evening walk through the bazaar and stop at the mosque was a lovely end to our day.

This was a really amazing trip with Explore Egypt Tours. Mariem was really helpful in organise the details of our tour and we had a brilliant day with Mahmoud and our driver. Mahmoud took us to loads of great local spots to try delicious Egyptian cuisine. There were lots of stops to rest along the way and so much food to eat, were so full by the end. Mahmoud is a great guide and we had such a nice time chatting and getting to know him. I would definitely recommend this trip to everyone from solo female travellers to groups. We were really looked after from begging to end!

Mahmoud was absolutely amazing! He was able to go at a slow pace for our family and make adjustments based on our requirements. He was a wonderful person and I’m so glad we did this tour

Loved the (food tour), where my tour guide (Email) took me to the old city center to try all the local foods, and we did lots of walking to experience the true Egyptian street food at night, thanks to (Hayam) my travel cosultante for organizing this so quickly 🙏👌
