For tour start from Bangkok:- After hotel pickup, your vehicle makes the journey north from Bangkok to Ayutthaya Historical Park, located 53 miles (85 km) away. The old capital of Thailand (aka the Kingdom of Siam) from 1350 until 1767, Ayutthaya was largely destroyed by the Burmese and is now a UNESCO World Heritage site full of intact temples, monasteries, palace ruins and beheaded Buddhist statues.

Tour start every hours from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm everyday from Ayutthaya. For tour start from Ayutthaya :- Free of charge Door to Door Pick up by Tuk Tuk for CITY CENTER AYUTTHAYA DISTRICT AREA (3 KM radius area)

The most interesting historical sites in the country, to visit a famous Buddhist Temples, Wat Mahathat Wat Mahathat :- built in 13th Century It is one of the oldest and most significant temples in the history of Ayutthaya as it housed the Buddha's holy relic

Wat Chaiwatthanaram:- It is one of the most iconic and well-preserved temples in Ayutthaya, known for its impressive Khmer-style architecture and scenic riverside location. Everyone goes here for late afternoon and sunset. Many local people dressed in traditional clothing pray in the evening which makes the evening even more interesting. Look out for bats in the inside of the buildings as they leave their resting space at sunset. One of the stupas is currently being restored but it does not interfere with the sunset view.

One of the most important temples in Ayutthaya, Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon has a long and illustrious history. And unlike many of the other ancient sites in Ayutthaya, this is still an active temple where monks reside. Thai people visit Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon to not only pay respects to Buddha, but also to pay homage to one of the most respected kings in Thai history, King Naresuan the Great.

The distinctive pagodas of Wat Phra Si Sanphet are one of the most famous sights in Ayutthaya. Much like the iconic Buddha head in tree roots at nearby Wat Phra Mahathat, images of this historic temple adorn the front of many of the post-cards and travel books that are sold in Ayutthaya.

Although Wat Lokaya Sutha (also written as Wat Lokayasutharam) is not one of the most famous historic sites in Ayutthaya, it remains an impressive location to visit. And that is thanks to the temple’s most striking feature, the giant reclining Buddha image. At 42 metres long and 8 metres high, the statue towers over the devotees who come here to make offerings.

Heading to the Floating Market Ayutthaya, you'll enjoy a unique shopping experience (note: boat ride fees are not included). After exploring, we'll treat you to a delicious Thai lunch. Ayothaya Floating Market serves as a tourism hub for both domestic and international tourists to enjoy the pleasant environment and gorgeous scenery in a Thai style. While exploring the Market, tourists can savour some tasty and delicious food, or shop for souvenirs at various stores scattered around the Market. Ayothaya Floating Market was established with the primary purpose of serving as both a tourist destination and an educational institution for the preservation of Thai arts and culture. It retains all the aspects of an Ayutthayan floating market of the past including traditional costumes, stunning architecture, unique culture and traditions, authentic amusements, folk performances, and the simple lifestyle of the Thai people.

This tour was rather disappointing. No idea why it’s callled funky frog when it’s just your normal everyday tuktuk. The tour of the temples was good as they are beautiful and the guide explained it all. However the tour operator clearly didn’t tell the tuktuk driver the same as us. Driver expected whole tour to last 3 hours and we thought it would be six to seven hours! So after 3 hours the pressure started rising and we lost the holiday feeling … We didn’t actually walk around the floating market in the end just did the 15 minute boat ride around that area. We understood boat ride was to be around the temple area and to take at least an hour. There was no time to stop for lunch either. On top of this driver was 45 minutes late, again operator fault I think. No apologies from operator and at end of tour no response on WhatsApp. So this is my way to give feedback. It’s very easy to buy this tour but hard to get a response to problems.
Next time I will just hire a driver directly and it will be much cheaper and with no time pressure. It’s very easy to get around on your own really. I really booked this for the boat tour and we didn’t get that so VERY disappointed.
