After hotel pickup, your vehicle makes the journey north from Bangkok to Ayutthaya Historical Park, located 53 miles (85 km) away. The old capital of Thailand (aka the Kingdom of Siam) from 1350 until 1767, Ayutthaya was largely destroyed by the Burmese and is now a UNESCO World Heritage site full of intact temples, monasteries, palace ruins and beheaded Buddhist statues. 06:00 – 07:15 hrs. Pick up from hotel and transfer to the river city shopping complex, Siphraya, next to Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel. Morning By bus: 08:00 hrs. Departure from Bangkok by Grand Pearl luxury air–conditioned coach with English speaking guide.

09:30 hrs. Arrival at Ayutthaya, a World Heritage City and historic capital of Thailand in the period of 1350-1767 A.D. The most interesting historical sites in the country, to visit a few famous Buddhist Temples.

Visit Wat Mahatad, the royal monastery, served as the residence of supreme monk

Wat Phrasrisanphet, the largest and most important temple. Its was used as a residential palace
5.
Wihan Phramongkhon Bophit, the large bronze Buddha image was originally enshrined in the open area outside the grand palace and later covered by a building called Wihan.

This temple has the largest reclining Buddha image in the island of Ayutthaya. Enshrined in an outdoor brick building with a length of 42 meters and 8 meters high. The head turns north. His face turned to the west. Phrabath turned south.

Afternoon By cruise: 13:15 hrs. Welcome aboard the Grand Pearl Cruise Liner at Wat Chong-lom Pier (Nonthaburi). Sumptuous buffet lunch with a choice of a variety of oriental and western cuisines will be served, while you may relax and enjoy the fascinating scenery on the River of Kings. The cruiser will then head towards Nontaburi, past Koh Kred, The monn community before reaching Bangkok city.

15:00 hrs. Coffee will be served while you enjoy the enchanting sights along the River banks such as the colorful Royal Barges House, Thammasart University, Siriraj hospital, The Royal Grand Palace and the graceful Temple Of Dawn, with its magnificent 79 M. spire, Wat Kallayanamitr, one of the most renowed temples.

The tour guide Donna was wonderful, and the river cruise with a lunch buffet exceeded our expectations. The bus was air conditioned and we were given plenty of water. Lots of opportunities for photos.

Fantastic tour and tour guide. First (the tour guide) speaks good English, he has a good sense of humour and he's very knowledgeable. What differentiates this Ayutthaya tour from the rest is the river cruise on the way back to Bangkok. Not only it avoids Bangkok's heavy traffic but it's also an excellent way to see another aspect of the city. Plus the buffet lunch was delicious. Would recommend.

Our Driver pick us up from Hotel and bring us to the meeting point at River City Center and from there we board the bus with others for an hour drive to Ayutthaya town. Ms Donna was a cheerful guide with clear explanations about the Trip and brief history of the areas visited. The lunch on board the cruise was yummy and atmosphere pleasant on board.

Compact tour that doesn't miss out on the main attractions. Hour travel time from Bangkok to Ayutthaya and another hour from Ayutthaya to the river. River cruise was lovely with a large spread of food.

Absolutely amazing day! Start to finish! Guide was excellent. Ruins were fascinating. Lunch buffet was huge and cruise back was so much better than a bus.

Amazing place. However I was not notified of pickup time being changed

Also dress code is NOT inforced
And these is no place to rent appropriate clothes
