Johnny's Prague Photography Tour is an award-winning walking photo tour with more than 10-year old tradition. It will fully immerse you with cityscape photography for 3 hours.
You will be guided by a local professional photographer named Jan Miracky to his favorite photography locations in Prague - both iconic as well as off-the-beaten-path. Jan will also advise you on how to improve your composition skills and teach you how to set up your camera to capture the best images possible.
We will take advantage of the best light and shoot in soft late afternoon light through sunset to the blue hour that is the best time for capturing night photos.
This tour is for photography enthusiasts of all levels. If you enjoy cityscape/landscape photography and want to get a local touch for your pictures while learning new tricks, then this tour is for you!

Johnny created a very enjoyable experience mixing iconic cityscape spots with bits of indoor and even abstract photography. The mix works great keeping things interesting and managing a timeline driven by the sunset. Be prepared to walk a lot.
His instruction is fool proof so a complete beginner or an experienced amateur will find it easy to execute. Highly recommend!
As a bonus John hooked us up with a photographer in Budapest!

As an added bonus Jan is a delight to be around, providing great conversation as well as dining tips, one of which proved to be one of our most enjoyable dinning experiences throughout our entire nineteen days in Europe.

My wife and I have gone on many photo trips all over the world. This was our first short photo tour with a professional and Jan was amazing. He took us to all the great evening sights of Prague. He helped us frame and shoot for the best results. He is a very practical and informative teacher one of the best we have had. We would eagerly go on an extended tour with him. We highly recommend Jan and this tour if you want to learn while getting some great shots of Prague. Thank you Jan.

I booked this photo tour for my first night in Prague. Although I hadn’t slept in 24 hours, I enjoyed our time together so much I forgot about my exhaustion! We went to some interesting spots I never would have found on my own. Even though I only have a point and shoot camera, Jan gave me great advice on how to take better pictures and capture the best of Prague! I was fortunate to have a private tour. Although we spend a month in Europe this was definitely a highlight of our trip!

Jan is an extraordinary photography guide located in the beautiful city of Prague. He was very helpful with camera settings and composition plus he knows the best locations. He was also kind and courteous, he even offered to carry my tripod along the way. All of my expectations were exceeded. Jan is a masterful guide and consummate professional. He took me to picturesque areas in Prague. He modifies his guidance perfectly for his audience. In my case, I'm a confirmed amateur uncertain in the use of new equipment. Jan was able to provide tips not only on equipment settings but also ways in which I could improve my compositions.

An amazing tour with Jan. He knows the city really well so you get to maximise your time during golden hour and get tons of really good photos. His photography knowledge is also amazing and I learnt a lot from him in the few hours we spent together. Definitely highly recommended.

Jan was a fantastic tour operator and photographer. Despite the rainy weather, I very much enjoyed the tour. The photo spots he has scouted for the tour were excellent. Jan also shared his composition tips for different shots. Overall, this was a great tour for anyone who is into photography.
