We were picked up from the hotel on time and taken to the airport. The booking was made in advance and it was a well-organized trip. In Cairo we were met by the tour guide (Khalid) and he accompanied us the whole time and was able to tell us a lot about the history of Egypt and Cairo. The tour on the Nile with a different view of the skyline was impressive (extra charge 10€ per person). The visit to the Egyptian Museum was nice and the exhibits were well explained by Khalid. Of course, the visit to the pyramids and the Sphinx was very impressive and overwhelming. At the end we were transferred back to Cairo airport and were told where to go.
Conclusion: Very well organized and everything worked smoothly.

I recently booked a day trip from Hurghada to Cairo and it was simply outstanding! The organization of the trip was seamless, from booking via WhatsApp to transfers and flights. Our German-speaking guide was highly qualified and had extensive knowledge of the history and culture of Egypt. Our tour began with a visit to the Cairo Museum. This was followed by a city tour from the Nile, for which we only had to pay a small additional charge. Lunch was well organized and offered a good selection of local dishes. The visit to the pyramids and the Sphinx was impressive. Overall, the trip to Cairo was an incredible experience that I can only recommend to everyone!

The trip was perfectly organized. We felt in good hands with tour guide Khaled Oman from the start. He told us a lot, showed us the most important and most beautiful exhibits in the Egyptian Museum and accompanied us all day, from the Nile cruise to the pyramids and the buffet meal, in a super friendly and competent manner. At exactly 4:45 a.m. we were picked up at the hotel in Hurghada by a driver and companion and driven to the airport in Hurghada. They gave us the flight plan and, strangely, an envelope with cash, which we were supposed to give to the tour guide in Cairo. We felt a little uncomfortable doing this, but that's probably normal.
After checking in at the airport, we received our flight ticket, went through security and waited at the gate for the Egypt Air plane. We set off at 6:30 a.m. and after about an hour of flying we were already in Cairo.
At the airport in Cairo, after leaving the building, our tour guide (Khaled) greeted us and took the envelope with the cash. We then went straight to the Egyptian Museum in a car and a driver. Since there were only two of us, we had a personal German-speaking tour guide.
In the Egyptian Museum, the tour guide showed us around and explained a lot about the individual artifacts.
From the museum we went to the Nile. A small boat was waiting for us there for a Nile cruise. This cruise lasted about 30 minutes.
Then we went to lunch (buffet), which was included in the price. We had to pay for the drinks we ordered. We enjoyed it. From the roof of the restaurant you could see and photograph the pyramids of Giza for the first time.
After lunch we went to Giza to see the pyramids. The tour guide told us a lot and was able to answer all of our questions.
We were then offered the opportunity to see the inside of the largest pyramid. This costs about €18 per person (900 Egyptian pounds) extra. We were able to pay for the tickets directly at a machine by card. We are very happy that we did this. It was something very special and an absolute highlight. We went up through narrow corridors to the burial chamber. It was very warm and stuffy in the pyramid, but it was definitely worth it.
As a further highlight, we were offered a camel ride or a carriage ride, which would take us to a higher vantage point from which you have the best view of all six pyramids. We opted for the camel ride (€10 per person). We paid for this directly in cash in euros. The camel ride lasted around 30 minutes and from the elevation we had a wonderful view of all six pyramids at the same time. The camel driver also made a special effort to take a few beautiful and original photos with our camera.
From the pyramids we drove to the Sphinx. There we were also able to take lots of photos and buy souvenirs from the small stalls. The tour guide even helped us negotiate the price.
The official day's program was over. Since we still had enough time, our tour guide offered us a stop at an oil and fragrance manufacturer. Once we got there, we were given cold drinks and shown various oils and fragrances. Of course, there is no obligation to buy anything. We still treated ourselves to a few oils.
Then we went back to the airport. We arrived at the airport at 6:00 p.m. and according to the flight plan that was given to us in the morning, our return flight was due to depart at 9:05 p.m. Unfortunately, this flight was not listed on the display board in the airport. The flight with the corresponding flight number did not depart until 10:00 p.m. So we unfortunately had to wait until 10:00 p.m. for the return flight with Air Cairo. We arrived back in Hurghada at 11:00 p.m.
We were picked up outside the airport and driven back to the hotel.
We were at the hotel at 11:30 p.m.
We can highly recommend the tour, as it was the best way for us to finally fulfill our dream and see the pyramids and the Sphinx.
It was a shame, of course, that we had to wait a bit long for the return flight.
We never felt unsafe during this day tour; the safety of tourists is very important in Egypt.
We were able to buy drinks from the driver for a small fee. We paid in euros.
You should always have change in euros or dollars with you, for going to the toilet or if you want to buy something small. The tickets for the camel ride or the carriage ride can be paid for in cash in euros.

We had a very nice day and an even better travel guide. Khaled met us at the airport in Cairo and was full of inexhaustible knowledge and answered all our questions. He got us through everywhere without any waiting time and gave us valuable tips on how to deal with all the vendors. A very, very nice man who even changed the plan at the request of a friend who wanted to buy some souvenirs. We would book with Egypt Booking again and again and would be happy to book with Khaled again. And don't worry about paying in advance and collecting the money in front of the hotel, we did that too and everything went smoothly. Don't be afraid, it's unbeatably cheap.

Great organization, pick-up from the hotel on time, flight to Cairo without any problems, tour guide and driver in Cairo were top (Kahled and Ali), museum, old town, pyramids were wonderful. Return flight to Hurghada and transfer to the hotel were again on time. Long day, but anytime again

We were very happy with the trip today. Well organized despite everything being handled via WhatsApp. Even despite the departure time only being communicated the evening before = well organized and carried out. The tour guide Khaled Omar in particular is highly recommended. He has incredibly competent knowledge and leaves no question unanswered. The Nile cruise is quite nice, but the camel ride to the most beautiful viewing platform is a great adventure. We would be happy to do it again.

Despite the somewhat unusual handling via WhatsApp, everything worked perfectly. From the pick-up to the evening return, everything was super organized, friendly and punctual. Our guide Sharif and his driver made the trip a wonderful, informative and fun day. The two of them constantly provided chilled drinks, brought us safely through the completely crazy traffic, provided us with great information and photo points and protected us from overly pushy street vendors. The size of the group (7 people) meant we were very flexible and all questions were answered. It was an all-round successful day. Thank you very much and next year we will go to Luxor with you.
