This is an exclusive wine tasting of Lacryma Christi DOP Organic Wines which is paired with a typical lunch of Mount Vesuvius area.
Cantina del Vesuvio is a winery owned by three generation of wine maker of the Russo Family and their limited production is sold exclusively at the winery.
The winery is located in the National Park of Vesuvius on the south side, the best for the cultivations thanks to the sun and the sea which is very close, in fact from the winery is possible to see the entire gulf of Naples especially Capri island and the Peninsula of Sorrento.
The experience includes a tour guided of the vineyards where a member of the family will let you know about their history and the secrets they have to produce their famous wine. We stopped at this vineyard en-route from Positano to Rome which broke up the trip nicely.
Tour of the vineyard was short and just OK but our guide was fun and kept the kids amused!
Lunch with wine pairing was excellent! We loved all the food and they accommodated my dietary preferences which was extremely appreciated.
We loved the red wine vinegar, chardonnay and red wines. We sent a case home to enjoy!

Amazing setting with the most fabulous wine and food. The guide and all the staff were so lovely and friendly. Our driver was so courteous and a real gentleman!

Amazing wine, food and views! Highly recommend for a half day excursion. We stayed in Sorrento and it was about an hour drive.

An excellent experience that we won’t forget! Decided to book this trip to celebrate my bday & so happy we did.
On arrival you are greeted with a taster of their rosé fizz which was lovely. Following on from this there was around a 15 minute tour of the vineyards & winery, with the rest of the time spent on their lovely terrace enjoying wine matched with the 3 course meal.
The meal included mixed antipasto starter, spaghetti pomodoro & meatballs, then a traditional local cake. The wines paired with the meal were all high quality & delicious, we enjoyed them all.
Finally we were taken downstairs to the bar area where we sampled grappe & a local apricot spirit.
They sell lots of lovely souvenirs, from perfume to oil jugs, all lovely & unique to the winery. You can also order wine to be delivered to the UK.
Overall a great tour, well worth the money with amazing wines, views & food.

Our pick up was amazing, stopped along the way to our tour to take pictures. The tour was very nice food wine was exceptional and the vineyard was picturesque.

We absolutely loved this tour. The hosts at the vineyard were lovely. The lunch was excellent and the wine delicious. We ordered products to ship home. I highly recommend this tour.
