Our guide was not very good. Seemed like a nice guy but just not a good guide. The information he gave to us on the walking tour seemed like he had just read it off his phone (which he spent some time looking at as we walked from site to site). He was difficult to understand (to some degree because of his accent, but I really think more because he was soft spoken and didn't seem to have confidence or knowledge of what he was talking about).
The best guides know their history inside out and can relate things on the tour that go way beyond what you might get from a guide book.... that was not the case with our guide on this walking tour.

Ernst our guide met us at our hotel on our first day in Vienna. He showed us around the city and shared the history and added context to the places/buildings we were seeing. He was very knowledgeable and a pleasant person to talk to. He gave us restaurant recommendations which we used and helped us with public transport tickets. The tour met our expectations perfectly.

Our guide Franz was the highlight of the tour, he was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was welcoming for any question we had and we realy enjoyed our time with him.

We thoroughly enjoyed to experience. Aida was VERY knowledgeable about so many unique details of history. We navigated the train system with ease after the experience. It was a perfect activity to do upon arriving in the city. Highly recommended

During our walking tour in Vienna with Guram we saw and learnt a lot about the city. He had great historical knowledge and an appreciation of modern day Vienna. This tour gave us ideas to further explore during our limited time in the city. We would definitely recommend and book Guram in the future!

The tour was a walking overview of Vienna inside the Ringstrasse. The walk was leisurely but over 5 miles. It was thorough and interesting. A great way to see old Vienna.

Franz is an amazing guide - very knowledgeable about the extremely rich history and intricacies that are woven by the men and women of the past. Though the tour we booked was for 2 hours only, the amount we learned and saw surpassed all of our expectations!

Francisca, my guide, was open, friendly, informative & it was a very enjoyable tour! I got information that was off the beaten track & it was very interesting!
I have been to Vienna a few times before, so I probably was a challenge for Francisca. However, she asked lots of questions to determine the areas that I hadn’t seen or was not aware of - for example, I loved seeing the oldest Tavern in Vienna. Something only a local would know! And the coffeee in a cone - the most expensive coffee in Vienna! 😊. Interesting info on the churches & The Hapsburgs as well.
A lovely way to enjoy Vienna! I would recommend Francisca, anytime 👍👍👍👍👍
