My partner and I had a great time walking around Vidigal Favela with Fabio. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and we felt safe and welcome all the way.
We had mixed feelings about a tour inside a favela but it was done in an incredibly respectful way. The views are fantastic too and he will tell you lots of interesting anecdotes along the way. We highly recommend it!

We had a tight schedule for Santa Marta Favela but Fabio our tour guide managed to accommodate us and sent us to airport. This is a unique experience to see another side of Rio. Apart from that, a part of proceedings from the tour will be used to support the Favela community which made our visit more meaningful.
We were a bit worried about the safety but as long as we followed Fabio and took his advice, safety is not an issue.
Highly recommend this tour.
