Abu Simbel Temples Private Day Tour by Luxury Car from Aswan

This is one attraction that is very hard to get to, but it is absolutely worth it.
The roads are a bit tricky and it’s far away from everything but it is a once in a lifetime experience.
There are options to book your tourguide for additional tours in Aswan and along the way.

On the first day, we were picked up at the hotel exactly at 4:30 as promised, so we departed for Abu Simbel without any worries.
Our guide, Mo, loves Japan and teaches Japanese at school, so he speaks very good Japanese!
The round trip from the hotel to Abu Simbel took about 7 hours, and we even had a toilet break on the way.
When we arrived at Abu Simbel, he told us about the history of the temple in detail and took many photos in the best positions.
Mo is good at taking photos!
We were treated to a popular Egyptian breakfast, and on the way back, we stopped at a traditional Nubian village in Aswan. There we could take photos with a baby crocodile and were treated to delicious hibiscus tea.
He also took us to a shop that makes real papyrus, and taught us how to make papyrus with a demonstration. It was a valuable experience! There are real and fake papyrus, and the fake ones tear easily, so if you want the real thing, please ask Mo.
Our driver, Bitar, was also very kind and cute, and drove safely.
I'm looking forward to the Fira Temple, the High Dam, and the Obelisk on the second day!

the tour operator did not bother to show up. I flew in from Cairo and was left alone. I called them and they said I needed to send them passport info witch I did but they said they didn't get it. and then emailed me the day before after I emailed every tour I had booked and said that I will have NO access to email or my American phone once I left. I had no response from dr. mo. Then they said it takes 24hours to get a pass and could do nothing for me. This is a total lie as it only took me 20 minuets to get a free pass and I do not speak the language was told they would refund my money and now viator is refusing to do so. I had 7 or 8 tours all booked with viator 5 were great 1 was able to make a few changes on the fly and was great and 1 no show that lied about everything and no help from viator resolving the problem.

Great experience with Dr. Mo tours after very bad ones in Cairo. Everything was on time and I had a very experienced guide for myself that explained the two temples with details. The place is stunning and completely worth the 3 hour back and forth.

This was a great way to see Abu Simbel from Aswan. The driver and guide were both excellent. Pick up times were flexible, unlike other companies, so we could enjoy breakfast at our hotel first. Since we started later, we reached Abu Simbel midday and had the site completely to ourselves. It was hotter, but worth it. Highly recommended.

Lifetime experience. The driver picked up at our hotel at 5am sharp . He is a very skilled driver and voided quite a few terrible road conditions .He made us feel safe . He also pointed some interesting sites on the way to Abu Simbel Temple and gave us some ideas about how to spend days in Aswan .
When we arrived in Abu Simbel Temple . Our tour guide has already there to welcome us . His name is Wali he is from there . So he knows the area inside and out .We learned a lot from him .
I highly recommended this tour to anyone .

Excellent overall tour. From the driver (Magdi) to the guide (Adel) we were in good hands the entire time. We selected this tour company for their flexibility with times - it was great to sleep-in and not have to worry about waking up early to head from Aswan to Abu Simbel.

Once there, we had the whole site to ourselves. Adel was perfect - he shared just the right amount of information...not too much, and not too little. He fit perfectly with our touring style, and was comfortable walking and talking, unlike some guides that stand in one place and talk...and talk...and talk.

Communication from this tour company was great as well. We were so happy to see such a magnificent site with such a competent company. Definitely recommended.

I’m grateful I found this tour! They followed exactly as per tour description. Dr Mohammed is very experienced and knowledgeable tour guide. ( He is actually a descendant of Ramses II ) You will look forward to hear his commentary on each sites you will visit. No dull moments! ( some tour guides will remind you have a jetlag haha! but not Dr Mohammed ) He will give you enough free time to walk around the sites.

Abu Simbel tour is unforgettable, I wish it can be longer but I have limited time since I still have Aswan day tour in the afternoon.

For our lunch, we went to a local restaurant and it’s amazing! You should order the grilled chicken too.

If you want comfort, convenience, hassle free and trust worthy company, you should book with them too.

I will be back again with my friends for sure and will book with them again.

Our driver Mr Abdul is a professional driver, fun and engaging.

Here’s the best part.. They also helped me get a data for my phone! Alleluia! you know internet is life!

Dr. Mohamed is a wonderful guide! He is very punctual and organized our tour so we would have the best experience. His knowledge of Egyptian history is impressive and he invited us to ask questions. Also, he is very patient and not only offered to take pictures for us but insisted on it. My friends and I are very satisfied. I wholly recommend this tour—especially with Dr. Mohamed as a guide!
