Wekalet El Ghouri is an architecturally stunning arts center in the El Azhar area in Central Cairo operating under the Ministry of Culture and Cultural Development Fund. This arts center is the home of the Al Tannoura dance show.the Al Tannoura show. it has become a hot stop for organizing cultural events. The most popular being the bi-weekly El Tannoura dance performance. the show is available only on Saturday, Monday, and Wednesday

We have been several times at this show, and it is really impressive. The show takes place in an open inner courtyard of the mosque, and it starts with the dervishes introducing their instruments, then they start dancing and whirling, rotating their colourful skirts in the air with an impressive art and skill. The show lasts one hour and a half, and the price is very low (it used to be for free many years ago). I highly recommend it.

This was a must-see performance - amazing music, fabulous dancing, and all in a historic setting! If you book with the tour, they save you seats up front for the best view in the house.

The show was spectacular! And my tour guide, Jessy, was such a joy. She was the great surprise of the evening and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great time. It was like hanging out with a friend. Felt safe and at home. Thank you so much! Would definitely recommend.

Marvelous show and must see in Cairo,
I was really impressed by the work and the efficiency of the whole team . The reservation process was super easy and the transportation was a shared one . It was really an amazing experience

Our guide was Omar, he was prompt and made small chat on our ride to Wekalet El Ghouri. He explained a bit about the history if the show and the area it was in.
The show in itself was absolutely phenomenal!!!! You are able to follow the story based off the dancers movements and emotions. Beautiful, artistic and simply fantastic!!! I am so glad we went to this highlight!
