This was the very best tour we have ever been on! Vadim was an amazing guide, and kept myself and my 15 year old son engaged and fascinated the whole time. His knowledge was extensive, and the interesting facts he shared about Prague's history brought the city to life. I highly recommend booking this tour. My only regret is that we did the tour at the end of our trip instead of the beginning. We were disappointed we didn't get to explore the city with the perspective that Vadim shared. We'll just have to go back.
P.S. We loved the tour so much, we booked one with Insight Cities Vienna right after. 5 stars for that one, too!

The history of the architecture, nobility, emperors and religion. Our guide was very knowledgeable and personable. He shared many interesting antidotes throughout the tour. He also suggested additional places to visit on our next 2 days in Prague.

This is one of the best tours I have ever had. Vadim is simply incredible. What makes his style so noteworthy is how he brings history to life in a way that only the best tour guides/teachers can. When you take this tour he sets the stage for the various historical times periods making sure you understand all the significant ideas of the time as well as the important historical figures. I have not felt so engaged with the history of a place then on this tour. He also knows the best places to stop for some incredible Czech beer and food.

Vadim was an excellent tour guide! He is extremely knowledgeable and it was obvious that he did the research and knew the material and that he wasn't reading from a script. He pointed out all the little details I would have missed. He was able to answer all our questions and was very friendly and kept everyone engaged in the tour. The best part was he knew a great pub or brewery near everything! Great tour highly recommend!

The Prague Castle and its grounds are beautiful, but unless you go with a guide like Vadim, you'll miss so much of the history and nuances of Czech culture. Vadim is smart, witty, and deeply knowledgable guide.

Prague Castle is so beautiful and we just didn't want the tour to end! Super guide, attentive, good at weaving in and out of the crowds and a terrific story teller. Very worthwhile.

We really loved this tour! What sets Vadim apart is the entertaining way he weaves together the specifics of the Castle's buildings and events to the whole of European history, including architecture and philosophy.

The time flew by on this 3-hour tour with Vadim. We asked for him particularly since we read the other reviews. All true. He is a wonderful storyteller, very open to questions, and with so much knowledge about the castle sites. Great experience.

Vadim was an absolute delight! We took two half-day tours with Vadim, including the walking tour of New Town and Old Town as well as the Prague Castle tour with a behind-the-scenes private peek into the Strahov Monastery Library!! We were blown away by how enthusiastic, engaging, and knowledgeable Vadim was--he even tailored the information about Prague to suit our American backgrounds, putting Prague's history and culture in context with the history and events occurring in America at the same time. For example, roughly during the time Mozart was composing music, the Declaration of Independence was being written across the pond! And when we walk through downtown Seattle now, we always think of Prague's Dancing House, whose architect is the same one who designed Seattle's colorful EMP! What a way to experience a city for the first time!
Not only did we love the time we spent with Vadim, but when we parted ways after both tours, he always gave us the perfect recommendations for what to do next that was close by and his dining recommendations never disappointed.
For a spectacular day, please look no further--Vadim is your man!
