The 228 Peace Memorial Park is a historic site and municipal park located at 3 Ketagalan Boulevard, Zhongzheng District, Taipei, Taiwan. The park contains memorials to victims of the February 28 Incident of 1947, including the 228 Memorial Monument that stands at the center of the park and the Taipei 228 Memorial Museum, housed at the site of a former radio station that operated under Japanese and Kuomintang rule. The National Taiwan Museum stands at the park's north entrance. The park also has a bandshell and exercise areas.

Originally built to serve as the Office of the Governor-General of Taiwan during the Japanese colonial period, the Presidential Office Building is one of the most recognizable buildings in Taiwan. During World War II, the building sustained damage from Allied forces, and was restored after the war to serve as the office of the Governor-General of Taiwan province and military affairs office, and following the Chinese Civil War, the building began to serve as the Presidential Office Building of the Kuomintang leadership in Taipei.

Zhongshan Hall is a historic building which originally functioned as the Taipei City Public Auditorium.

The "Harajuku" of Taipei, this pedestrian shopping haven is one of the city's culture centres, hosting a massive variety of fashion clothing shops, eclectic restaurants, clubs, and bars.

Built in 1908 by the Japanese, this Western-style building and its surrounding square located at Ximending is home to Taipei's creative and culture industry, hosting exhibitions and performances daily. Originally, the complex with built to serve as the first government-operated public-run market, and now is classed and preserved as a municipal heritage site. The building features an octagonal entrance and cross-shaped floor plan where merchants could showcase their goods. Today the market has modernised to become a space for the creative and art industry, including an outdoor Market for Artists and Designers located within the North Square.

It was unfortunately raining all throughout and there was only 4 of us in the tour, but that didn't matter 'cause our incredible tour guide Shao gave us the full tour experience nevertheless. It was highly educational and it gave us a new perspective and a beautiful introduction to Taiwan and its people. The perfect thing to do on your first day in Taiwan, it's an absolute must. Shao is an absolute trooper and she made the tour better than what we could've ever imagined.

Had a lovely walking tour of Taipei Old town with Ale our Colombian Tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Made sure we kept cool in the heat and made regular stops for toilet, food, drink etc. would highly recommend this tour.

We loved this tour and felt like the information in it was things we couldn’t have learned on our own just by walking around. Elliot was our guide and he knew so much about Taiwan’s history and politics, which is what interested us the most when planning to come here.

Ale our tour guide took us on this and talked passionately about Taiwan's history, It was amazing to hear it from her as she was very enthusiastic sharing us her knowledge and experience as a Taiwan resident. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Taiwan for the first time. It's a fun way to meet other like minded people and exchange travel stories too. This was an excellent tour of the old town of Taiwan. Shao, our tour guide was both entertaining & knowlegeable. My family enjoyed it so much. It was a mix of history, food & market tour...thus a complete package. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience.

This was a great informative tour on the history of Taiwan. Visiting the sites were almost secondary to the history, in a good way, and helps put into perspective why Taiwan is the way it is and hopes for the future. I highly recommend it, not just as a few tour, but to learn about Taiwan and its people. Our tour guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our guide Elliott was both entertaining and interesting and he put a lot of thought into answering everyone's questions Not too much walking, shady spots for all the talking bits and a pit stop for a drink. It was perfect.
