This tour is predominantly aimed at experiencing the towns and scenery of the Amalfi Coast more than interior visits to historic sites.

Enjoy a relaxing drive trough the Amalfi Coast making photo stops along the way. Discover Positano the "Jewel of the Amalfi Coast" Explore Amalfi,the main town of the Coast and the birthplace of Limoncello. Be enchanted by the stunning views from the hilltop of Ravello. The itinerary can be certainly customised according to your needs,but please note that some areas may not be accessible with a stroller /wheelchair or for people with limited walking abilities. This tour is predominantly aimed at experiencing the towns and scenery of the Amalfi Coast more than interior visits to historic sites

The day will start with a drive by the Sorrento Coast. After about a 45 minute drive, we'll arrive at the ruins of Pompeii, the first stop on this breathtaking day tour where you will have the opportunity to see one of the most important archeological sites in the world! Pompeii was part of an ancient Roman city destroyed and buried by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Either licensed guides can be arranged ahead of time (additional cost) or you can visit the site on your own. However you choose to explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will be in awe as you see the remnants of this 1st century city which offer some insight into the Roman life that came to a premature stop there on 24 August AD 79. After this amazing historical experience you can choose to continue our tour to Herculaneum or visit a local family Winery located at the foot of Mt.Vesuvius

Naples is a gem, a city of art in the truest sense of the word. Naples is a city where culture and tradition are mostly unchanged over the centuries thanks to the genuineness of its people, the hospitable Neapolitans. Last but not least, Naples is the city of Pizza. You simply can’t leave bella Napoli without having tasted the famous Margherita Pizza.

I very highly recommend Umberto Limos Positano if you're looking for someone to provide you transportation and tours around the Naples/Sorrento areas. I hired them for transfer from Naples airport to our vacation rental in Sorrento, a driving tour of the Amalfi Coast, a tour of Pompeii and Herculaneum, and transport from Sorrento to the Napoli Centrale train station. Very good email communication when getting details of offered services and bookings. Very reasonable prices
Our transport drivers to and from Sorrento, Gianni and Leo were very courteous, friendly and accommodating. We can't say enough good things about our driver Mattia (aka Joey) who drove us on the Amalfi Coast driving tour, and our tour to Pompeii and Herculaneum. He was so very personable, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. We would recommend him very highly if you choose Umberto Limos. Also the guide at Pompeii and Herculaneum that Umberto hired for us was excellent. Very knowledgeable, personable and professional. As you can see by the photos attached, we all had an extremely wonderful experience.
Many thanks to Umberto and his staff for making our time in Sorrento so very memorable.

We had an amazing tour of the Amalfi coast, made even more so by our warm, funny and knowledgeable guide Niconcello! We spent the day seeing the most amazing sights - absolutely breathtaking. Nico shared history and fun facts - he handled the roads with tremendous expertise!

Our driver, Nico was amazing. Fun and knowledgeable. We also had transfer service from Sorrento to Naples with Pasquale. He was also fantastic. So funny and very knowledgeable. He let me practice my Italian on him. Il mio Italiano non è molto buono!!

Nico picked us up from Rome airport and we stopped at Pompeii and then continued onto a drop off in Amalfi. We enjoyed Nico’s services so much we decided to hire the company and requested Nico the following day for a coastal tour of Amalfi. Nico went above and beyond our expectations. He really made my wife and I feel like we were riding around the coast with a good friend! Making stops all along the coast and getting us to the best restaurants for snacks and lunch, even got us the best table at lunch for incredible views. My only wish is that we had more time to spend together. Nico is one of the best humans going! Much love to Italy and our driver/friend Nico! Ciao ciao ciao ciao. See you soon Nicocello!

Nico is wonderful! He speaks excellent English, has a comfortable vehicle, and navigates expertly. Nico is engaging, knowledgeable, and drives beautifully. We loved getting to know such a special person while experiencing the marvelous Amalfi coast. We felt safe and well taken care of the entire time. By the end, Nico became a part of our family. We highly recommend using Nico!

Our driver Nico picked us up at Naples Afragola train station (we came down for the day on 07:30 high speed train from Rome). He drove us the whole day around Amalfi Coast, dropping us at Salerno station for our return high speed train back to Rome.

This is the best way to have a full day without any personal hassle - the car was a beautiful luxury Mercedes people carrier with armchair seats - Nico was informative without bombarding with too much talk, and he gave us many stops for photos.
He also recommended an excellent restaurant in Amalfi town for lunch, which we would never have found on our own.

We saw the best places, with time in Positano and Amalfi, plus a stop at a ceramics factory (we bought two beautiful plates without the retail mark-up).

As the driving and parking was taken care of, we could enjoy a couple of drinks with lunch!

Leo was a fantastic guide! He picked us up in his beautiful black car, very clean and stocked with bottled water. Leo was very friendly, spoke good English and was a wealth of knowledge! He is from Naples and currently resides in Sorrento where we stayed, so he knew all the ins and outs and was clearly well versed in the culture. The day was a great mix of driving and stopping to see all the highlights. I am SO thankful we did not try to drive on the coast ourselves. We had time to walk around Positano and Leo made reservations for an incredible restaurant with spectacular views to enjoy lunch away from the crowds in Ravello. Overall it was a very special and memorable day!

Our driver Nico picked us up at our hotel and drove us all around the Amalfi Coast. We stopped to take some gorgeous photos, went shopping in several different places, had an amazing lunch at a restaurant recommended by Nico. The food was delicious and the views were spectacular. Nico stopped anytime and everywhere we wanted. He made our entire day so special treating us like royalty! I can’t say enough about this one of a kind driver. Until we meet again….
