it was a great experience--- but MUCH ---shorter that what we expected--$500 for my husband and I--for maybe 12 min. ? -- had to wait few min.--to take off, (very hot inside the helicopter)!!

It is scam. To reach the place you need at least 1-1.5 hours from Manhattan .
There are a lot of surcharges , which you find out after you purchased the ticket.
People are very rude. It is clear that they hate every person who came. The pilot haven’t said even a word to us. Please choose different company for this experience .

Unfortunately there 2 the same addresses … we were at the wrong… waiting before 4pm, than we realised about that, take the Lyft taxi, and we’re 15 minutes late… charged extra 200$…. No fair… because there was not our mistake or our late attitude … google maps has shown us bad// other place with the same address ….:-(…

They advertise $200 per person and we purchased the tickets on line. Made us wait for 11/2 hr. Charged us $25 per person, for a total of $50, some TAX. They should advertise that before. Don’t let the customer buy the tickets and ask for ransom later. A terrible business practice.

To flee ! What should have been a gift and an unforgettable memory turned into a nightmare and a waste.
A waste of time and money.
My brother-in-law having offered us a helicopter tour with the company York Helicopter Tours L.L.C via the hellotickets website, we went to the meeting place on the scheduled date more than 1 hour in advance as agreed in the very strict process of the company.
We are waiting, no one. I tried to call the number indicated on the reservation 11 times, which answered 1 time out of 2 (not the same person each time) telling me “I called you back”, but never called me back, leaving us waiting without any information.
Finally it was the competing company FlyNyon (very good!) which informed us as it was physically present on the site with a real office and a reception room, telling us that no flight was possible today due to the winds too powerful. No one from York Helicopter Tours L.L.C or hellotickets informed us of the cancellation or postponement of the event! This is unacceptable and unprofessional.
I lost $113 on a round trip taxi (the meeting point being inaccessible by public transport), lost an afternoon of our trip and all our patience. Of course without any excuses, no commercial gesture or reimbursement of unnecessary taxi costs generated by their non-communication or inconsideration of their customers. In addition, the York Helicopter Tours L.L.C staff are very rude, barely explaining safety instructions to us while leaving us waiting in a room watching NCIS on TV to wait. Don't worry, they didn't forget to make us pay in cash the $45/person shuttle fee between the meeting point and the heliport...
It is shameful of hellotickets not to manage customer disputes between buyers and sellers of activities, and to work with unprofessional partners. We will never pass on your services again.

I went to NY last week from CA with my wife as it was our anniversary. I had a very short time to visit NY so i booked this Helicopter tour so that i can see all places in very short time.
We were supposed to be there at 2 pm. We took uber of 200$ from our hotel and once we reached there we tried to contact them, they said some car is coming to receive us from the spot. We waited 30 minutes but nobody came. Then we tried to contact them. A girl from the other side in call says that our tour is canceled because of the wind. 30 minutes ago she was the one who told a car is coming to receive us and Now she was telling it is canceled. They didn’t even tried to contact us or inform us. They ruined our whole day and we couldn’t go anywhere as we hadn’t buy any tickets for other visiting places.
I think these people are Scamer.

really a scam. They send you to a fictitious rendezvous point ... from which you arrive late and then pay a fine of $100 per person. When you try to explain the problem, they just laugh and say you shouldn't use google map. Frankly shameful!

The pilot was cute that’s what made us more happy lol. but the only problem was they had me waiting for so long. we had made time for 5pm and we didn’t board till 5:30p. mind you we got to get there a hour early.
