Munduk and Melanting waterfalls are among Bali’s most scenic, located within Bali’s lush and forested central-northern highland region. The falls are a highlight feature of the namesake village of Munduk in Buleleng, North Bali. Cool mists and the rushing sound of water greet you upon reaching the Munduk waterfall. Here you can wade into the rocky pool for a cold dip.

Banyumala Twin Waterfalls is absolutely one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Bali. You can see lots of tropical plants are grown freely everywhere, right under the waterfall there is a naturally formed pool that has become a favourite spot for visitors to swim and bathe filled with clear water, so you can see the bottom of the pool. This pool is 20 meters wide so many people can fit in it, and we advise to be careful If you decide to swim, the deepest part of the pool is approximately 2 meters deep. At Banyumala, guaranteed you will get a lot of interesting photos captured.

Leke Leke Waterfall is a magical waterfall hidden in the jungle of central Bali. This hidden gem currently isn’t known to many and you’ll often find almost no one else around. This waterfall is tucked between two cliffs, surrounded by a crazy amount of greenery and is incredibly photogenic. Bali is full of incredible waterfalls and Leke Leke is definitely one of them.

Newly developed as a tourist attraction in early 2018, the falls here are among the best on Bali. It’s about a 20-minute walk from the car park, a 500m trail, which is paved only with concrete stones and logs, winds through a village and coffee plantation. You'll eventually arrive at a large sign, where the path diverges to four separate cascades. Touches like colorful shrubs, bamboo huts and bridges make them especially Insta-worthy.

So, so good! Just breathtaking and a thousand percent worth it! The water is very refreshing and the views are unbeatable. Pictures just don't do these places justice! I wasn't going to swim, just getting my feet and legs wet at the first waterfall, but ended up getting all the way in by the last waterfalls. The water was lovely!

This was my husband and my first trip to Bali and we will definitely be back! We spent 4 days in Kuta and 4 in the Ubud area, which is where we were for the waterfalls excursion and what an awesome way to end our stay! The waterfalls chosen were absolutely breathtaking and completely worth the amount of car time spent.

Our guide, Aprio, was friendly, easy going, and knowledgeable, spoke great English and was totally flexible for us. The lunch included was also excellent! I highly recommend this tour and the company. They were very responsive and communicated perfectly through WhatsApp. We also really appreciated the bottles of water our guide had for us. Great experience!

*On a physical note... don't wear flip flops! Tennis shoes or hiking water shoes or sandals are great. I would say this is a moderate activity, not beginner or "easy" with muddy, rocky, uneven paths and steep steps, so be prepared to climb many stairs up and down in the humidity at each location (although it is a little cooler at most of the falls because of their altitude). Take the scooter rentals out, they are 100% worth the 35,000 rupiah (only like $2 usd). If you have asthma or bad knees or hips, this is not the excursion for you. We are fairly fit, 43 and 48 year olds and did the treks with no issues at all and not really even rest breaks, but we DID take advantage of the return scooter trips! Bring some idr with you for snacks, drinks, souvenirs, and the return scooter trips.

The husband dressed in board shorts and a long-sleeved sun shirt, while I wore a swim cover over a two-piece. Bring towels to sit on in the car in between falls. We did not end up changing into the dry changes of clothes we brought, but I could have and am glad I brought them. Sun protection is a must, as is water. You'll get some color even though most of the walking is in the "shade" of the jungle.

Finally, everywhere in Bali takes a long time to get to due to the topography of the landscape being a volcanic and craggy island, in addition to the narrow, winding roads. Keeping motion sickness pills with you everywhere when being driven around Bali is a good idea. There is always some traffic, but at times it gets really dense. Just remember you're on an island so you're on island time. Don't try to rush! You'll just end up frustrated and won't enjoy yourself. Stay flexible with plans and schedules and enjoy the unique island atmosphere! The Balinese people are some of the nicest, most genuine people I've ever met!

Our tour guide Aprio was amazing! He was always on time and very knowledgeable about the area. He was also flexible and very responsive to any of our asks. I’d highly recommend asking for him as a guide.

I was lucky enough to go on a full day Waterfall Tour with the incredible Ngurah Wyjaya and Jay and it was above and beyond all I could have hoped for. Ngurah was an amazing tour guild and I wouldn't use anyone else when in Bali. Jay also took the most incredible photos and made me feel so relaxed. Best day ever thanks to two incredible people.

Wayne was an excellent guide! All of the communication from reserving to pickup times to agenda was all very smooth and easy. The actual waterfalls were extremely beautiful. Lunch was very tasty. And the conversation was super - it was so nice to learn about the culture and the people while we drove around.

Be prepared for a lot of car time, but that is NOT the guide’s fault. Traffic is absolutely brutal in Bali. Travel gracefully and come with a good attitude and patience.

Bottom line - highly recommended.

This was our first trip to Bali and ForeverVacation’s guide Bobby made this a wonderful day for two over 50 bff’s who would have called it a day after the first climb. Bobby was patient and continued encouraging us to make the second and third trek. The waterfalls were amazing and worth all the steps. Thanks for making a physically tough day an incredible adventure.

😁 - Driver and guide Erba was prompt, helpful, funny, and a great photographer. Made everything enjoyable and stress free. The waterfalls are incomparable and massive, definitely must see, plus we had them almost to ourselves because the selection of waterfalls is outside of touristy areas.
😟 - Some pretty long walks, but motorbike taxis available for most. Totally worth it!

This was our last tour before heading back home and I could not be happier we chose this one to end our trip with. It was BREATHTAKING. The waterfalls were so incredible and our guide Erba was so patient with us as we sat and stared at the waterfalls for what felt like hours. I highly recommend this tour!

The tour was amazing. The landscape’s breathtaking and most importantly the guide Feri was soooo nice, funny and accommodating. He made the experience truly great. I would recommend it 100%.
