SNUBA is a professionally guided, shallow water diving program available to snorkelers and novice divers of all ages – and it requires no formal training or certifications. The SNUBA program is safe, easy and an appealing introduction to the underwater world. SNUBA is fun and entertaining; but it sparks wonderment in guests, increasing marine awareness and environmental conservancy.
This is a family activity. We offer this tour from 8 years on and up. There is also no maximum age.

My husband and I just did a tour and it was the best anniversary experience we’ve had thus far! My husband is not a fan of the ocean and after years of asking him to SNUBA, he finally gave in. The instructors are husband and wife with many, many, years of experience and it truly shows! They were very informative and took the time to explain everything to my husband to ensure comfort! We also always had an instructor nearby while in the water which gives peace of mind. They also took many photos for us, just in case, and the price was reasonable and well worth it! If you’re thinking about it- do it!!!

My husband, teenage boys, and myself had the best time. Kelly and her partner were amazing and patient. Very well planned and organized. I highly recommend this if you think you might be interested in scuba. I stayed closer to the surface and Kelly was great to check on me through the excursion. Great location for pickup as well!

I would highly recommend SNUBA SXM. I had an incredible experience diving with Michel and Kelly and I can’t say enough about how amazing the dive was.
I had zero experience going into the adventure which made me pretty nervous. Michel and Kelly made me feel safe and calmed my nerves with their expertise. Because I was able to relax, I could fully enjoy the dive and admire the beauty of the Caribbean. It was the highlight of my trip to St. Maarten. If you are looking to go on an excursion that will leave you in awe, snuba diving with SNUBA SXM is what you should choose. Michel and Kelly are knowledgeable and know how to have a good time. I am already looking forward to the next time!

What a great experience! Kelly and Michele were fantastic. Patient and kind and very thorough in their explanations and instructions. We had a group of 6, and Kelly took us down 3 at a time. While one group was under the other could either hang out on the boat (completely shaded) or go snorkeling. Kelly stayed with us the whole time checking in and adjusting as needed to keep you comfortable. (The pressure increases as you go deeper so if your ears don’t cooperate, like mine didn’t, then she’ll make sure you stay at a depth where you feel ok but can still enjoy the sights)
We saw various fish, coral, sea urchins, sunken helicopter, statues etc…
Mask, snorkel, equipment and fins were all included as well as rum punch or water for after the dive.
Kelly also took a lot of photos with a GoPro that we purchased afterwards.
Highly recommend!

This was a great experience and I highly recommend Kelly and Michel. I was a first timer and they made this very easy and fun. As soon as we jumped in the water, Kelly immediately put me at ease and made sure I was comfortable. We were able to see wildlife, a helicopter and a part of an aircraft which was pretty unforgettable.

It has always been a fear of mine to dive below into the sea. So I was pretty nervous to go out Snuba diving for the first time! My friends finally convinced me to go and I can now say I am not afraid anymore! Michel and Kelly were extremely pleasant and informative! Kelly gave us clear instructions and Michel was a fantastic guide. We got to see so many awesome sea creatures and received some really cool photos as well! Would recommend 10/10. I am looking forward to next time!

Wow. Kelly and Michel were excellent team guides. My son was the 'fish' to water - heading into the depths quite naturally and very comfortable with the equipment and process. My spouse also took to the underwater environment quickly. I had more trouble with the mask, breathing under water, etc., but Kelly was awesome at providing tips, trying different masks and being reassuring. The underwater sights were beautiful. Michel's knowledge of the boat, safety protocol and activity was also 'expert'. This was off the beaten path and a highlight of our SXM trip. You should try it!

Having never dived before (other than once years ago doing a helmet dive walk) this was a perfect experience. Michel and Kelly were perfect guides and tour operators. A great experience and a must for newbies who might be afraid of scuba or the dangers of going underwater! In fact, I found it easier than snorkeling (as the air flows at the right pressure all the time)
Here are some more of the details:
We parked (nearby so no problem with that) and were met by Kelly and Michel in front of the pier in Great Bay. We then got onto their boat (actually a converted lifeboat, but I would never have known that as it looks like a small ferry or something similar) and there was more than enough space to relax for the 9 minute ride to the diving location in Little Bay.
Once we were moored at the diving spot, Michel went through how to dive, tips and tricks, safety reminders and answered any questions we had. He was very thorough yet not over the top that you could not remember everything. Then on to the fun diving and Kelly kitted everyone out with weights (to help you sink slowly into the water) and off we went for almost 45 minutes.
Kelly swims with you in her full scuba equipment making sure you are comfortable and showing you things she knows are out there. We saw a sunken helicopter, submarine, many types of fish and …………
While I am not a doctor and nothing here is medical advice, I was concerned as I have high blood pressure, but given the maximum depth is 20ft, I understand your risk is not significant. I felt comfortable at all times and enjoyed the full time underwater.
Once you are done, Michel welcomes you back to a drink onboard and then back to the port.
All in all a great enjoyable. Well work doing even if you only do it once! I enjoyed it and I don’t say that too often.😊

We booked this excursion prior to arriving in St. Martin and it was everything we had hoped for. Kelly and Michel are excellent guides and super friendly. I was nervous to go under the water but I enjoyed snorkelling in Little Bay while hubby and bff enjoyed every second of exploring the helicopter and all the things the under water world offers. They explain everything very thoroughly and answer any question you may have. I had PLENTY. For anyone looking to something different for an excursion, trust Kelly and Michel to show you the way. I would highly recommend this to everyone.
