The balloon ride over the Nile and the Valley of the Kings at sunrise is a unique experience and a must! After the flight we were confronted with an unpleasant demand for money of 20 dollars per person. Also be careful with the cameraman who promises pictures, 15 dollars per person was charged and never sent by email. Ripped off twice!

Daif was our guide who picked us up from our boat and when arrived at takeoff site he procured hot beverages for my wife & I which warmed us up. Daif treated us very well & then handed us over to the Captain Ahmed who was a professional and made us laugh. Thank you both for making our Hot Balloon over the valley of the kings memorable & fantastic. What a view & incredible adventure.

Very professional with an emphasis on safety. We got there about 45 minutes before dawn and they were just getting the balloons up. The take off is amazing and the flight was outstanding. All of the major sights were pointed out with some emphasis on the significance of each. The pilot was able to land the ballon on a dime. Never felt endangered. The only downside was the little kids trying to sell you trinkets. One kid had the crying angel down. He needed an academy award.

He was a great guide, and the hot balloon was amazing
He made us visit Hatshepsut Temple, it was a great recommendation from him
Of course, if I visit Luxor again, I will make him my guide

It was a wonderfull experience ,this year I was with my huasbund in luxor for short Holiday and we spent amazing experience in the west bank of luxor we ride hot air balloon we saw amazing view above luxor like valley of the king's and hatshepsut temple which we can't forget♥️.

Taking the balloon ride was definitely one of the highlights of our 5 day stay in Luxor. We took the sunrise tour but getting up very early was totally worth it. The views over the nile and its western bank were breathtaking. The pilot seemed to be very professional as well as the equipment of the balloon and we felt safe throughout the trip. I recommend doing the tour rather at the end of your stay so you can have a wrap-up of all the things you visited, since from up there you can even see Karnak Temple on the east bank. From an organizational point of view Ahmed did, as always, a perfect Job: Book the ride (secretly together with my dad, meant to be a surprise), picked us up at the hotel, and we returned by the time he told us we would be back.
Such a great experience!
