Begin with pickup at your centrally-located hotel or cruise ship the exact time of departure depends on your location, and will be confirmed by the local supplier after booking. Transfer to a jetty on the Nile River, where you’ll board a boat for Sohail Island. you’ll travel in a modern motorboat. Take in views of the Nile riverbanks on the way to Sohail Island, passing Elephantine Island along the way. Disembark on Sohail Island, and visit a traditional Nubian house to learn about the history and culture of the Nubian people over a glass of welcome tea. After your time at the house, take a walk to explore the island on your own, strolling through brightly-painted villages, and chatting with the locals. We are on the Nile River tour and we took the Nubian village activity with the Guide Mustafa, he is very kind and took us to a school and a house, we did henna tattoos and we bought, the activity was very complete and very pleasant, it I highly recommend

My family and I had an amazing experience. The Nubian Village was the highlight of our Aswan stop in Egypt. Our tour guide was super nice! He took pictures, held our bags, explained to us the culture and was super accommodating. I highly recommend this tour when visiting Aswan. The island is very charming.

The boat ride is wonderful.
The Nubian village is truly characteristic.
The people are welcoming and obviously go out of their way to make you buy their specialties.
Mohamed is a good guy and a good guide.
It would be better to have more information on the traditions of the Nubian people.

an unexpected, and last minute trip turned out to be one of y favourite tours. Really loved the village and exploring daily life of the Nubian people and something different than typical Egyptian areas. Abu Joudy was punctual, and lovely to be guided by him. He took me around the area and helped me find the perfect gift for my mom. Great few hours. Would recommend

We had a very pleasant late afternoon cruise on a motor launch to the Nubian village. Mido was an excellent guide both on the water and within the village. The high point of our trip was a visit to the village's school. A teacher there demonstrated the Nubian alphabet and the language. We enjoyed the trip very much.

Very recommend to go to Nubian Village with Joudy, our guide! Our trip was very fun and amazing. We had a 45-minutes boat ride to the village, and Joudy described about Nubian village history, Nile river and the attractions that we passed by along the way. We went to the school, learned about Arabic and Nubian languages from the teacher. Then, we visited Nubian house, took a picture with little crocodile (they’re so adorable when they’re small not in the photo one). We also went to spices and souvenir shop (which owns by Jordy’s family so we got the good price). Joudy is very kind. He helped take us to local store to buy a drinking water in cheap price. Thanks to him for this super amazing trip!

I did a last minute booking on the same morning. The tour agent contacted me soon after to inform the meeting point. Our tour guide Doaa was awesome! She even gave us recommendations for our dinner near our hotel after our tour ended. We wish we were given more time to do some shopping in the village. But all in all, the boat ride in the evening to the village was excellent.

The Nubian Village Tour is well worth a visit. It’s a very beautiful and lovely place. It’s a village full of rich colors. The villagers are very enthusiastic and you can see many lovely ornaments. I will definitely visit next time I have the opportunity!
