In this tour we travel through the mountains to enter cloud forest, where we do some walks to observe several species of birds, orchids and maybe monkeys. After spending the night in our private lodge (Rainforest) we continue 3 hours by boat to Amazon lodge deep in the jungle, visiting hot springs on the way. We sleep in a tree house besides a mammals clay lick to watch out for tapirs, deers and other animals. The following day we explore the primary rainforest (untouched) with a chance to see many monkey species, birds like parrots and an unbelievable variability of plants like giant trees, palms and medical plants. We end the day with a night-walk to observe spiders (tarantulas), insects, frogs and snakes. On the last day we return to Cusco by boat and bus.

Juan Carlos was an amazing and super knowledgable guide. He made the trip fantastic! The wildlife was so cool (including birds, mammals, etc) and the food was really really good.

We had an amazing five days in the jungle! Moises was a really fun and knowledgeable guide, he showed us many different kinds of wildlife. Also the rest of the crew was super nice and helpful, which made our adventure a very pleasant one. Incredibly happy we experienced this tour (:

Tis was a true Amazon Experience. I loved it from the first moment the tour commenced. The guide service was extrordinary. This was just a perfect 5 days trip in Amazon with lovely people, good food and comfortable places to stay.

Was keen on experiencing the Peruvian Amazon and Palotoa were the best and experts in this. They have their own lodge which was very well maintained and comfortable. At every meal they served plentiful meal with a lot of varaiety. The guide as a local was well aware of the time and place to spot animals and birds and this was a very useful thing in my opinion.

This tour was well worth the time, money and energy. Saul was our guide and he is very patient, knowledgable and extremely attentive. We got a good overall orientation of he Amazon Rainforest and the flora and fauna. The food and lodging were nice too.

We were eagerly planning and looking forward to this trip and everything was just amazing. The guide as a local from the region knew a lot and explained every bit in detail. It was more like hearing a story. The food was terrific,infact we ate so much that we ended up gaining weight after the tour. The lodges were comfortable and very cozy. We are very delighted with Palotoa Amazon Travel and we highly recommend them.

Absolutely amazing trip to Manu! We saw so many different animals-11 out of 14 species of monleys, birds, otters, frigs, spiders, cocodiles and a lot more. Also we had great food and slept in fine lodges. Ahuge thanks to our very kind enthusiastic and professional guide Saul wjo was so competent at spotting the wildlife and knew so much about the jungle. Definitely worth the money!

This trip is very informative and the few days you spend in the Amazon will be unique and once in a lifetime experience.
Special thanks to Carlos whho was the excellent guide. Very knowledgable, passionate and hospitable. First, he not only knows about animal species in the jungle with an expertise in birds but also participated in many birs related researchh projects.
If you are curious about the external scientific explanation of this area he will be able to give you some illumination.
He was excellent in keeping us on schedule making sure every group member was ontime in a polite way.
Palotoa did indeed offer the best and memorable experience.

I was a bit skeptical initially to book this tour as i felt it was a bit expensive. After spending the best 5 days amidst the birds and animals in the Amazon Rain forest I can surely say, it is totally worth. Abel and Gladys are very nice and helped me a lot. Saul, my guide was a person I will never forget. He is very knowledgable, kind and helpful. This is the best trip in Peru.
