Let‘s set off on a self-guided audio walking tour through Prague’s fabled Jewish Quarter, one of the oldest centres of Jewish life in the world.

I’ve spent half of my life in this lovely city and I’ve always been fascinated by its Jewish heritage. You'll take in some of its most important sites, including the Old Jewish Cemetery, its beautiful synagogues, the Old Town Square, the Town Hall Clock and Franz Kafka Square. We’ll also meet some of the illuminating figures from Prague’s Jewish history.

Let me share some insight into the Jewish history of Prague, which spans centuries, architectural styles, personalities and, above all, stories. If you have a deeper interest in Prague’s Jewish sites and are planning on a visit to the Jewish Museum, which allows you to enter the Old Cemetery and the synagogues, then this is the best practical introduction to your visit. But please note that this tour does not include entrance fees to any of the sites along the way.

I feel like a human guide would've been a little better, but this was a great option for last minute, which was our situation. We did get off track a few times. We paid to go into the synagogues which was an additional cost not associated with this tour. That was worth paying for and we did it along with this tour. When you pay for the synagogue tours. They also offer an additional tour that's audio. Since we were already doing this one. We didn't do that one. I don't know if it would have been more informative in terms of the religious aspects and significance. I do know it did not cover as much ground as this tour.

The guide was easy to understand and shared just the right amount of info so that we could learn, but not be overwhelmed.

A fun and cheap way to get a good tour of the jeweish quarter. I used voicemap before in other countries and I love the concept. You can decide your own pace (take a break whenever you want) since there's no group or actual guide present.
It gives you a lot of information and the map is easy to follow (believe me, if I can keep track everybody can)
I would highly recommended.

This was a great walking tour. It takes around 75 minutes, and the guide does an outstanding job of giving directions and making sure you’re looking at exactly what you’re meant to see. A lot of times, it’s easy to get lost during these recorded tours but this one gave really precise directions.

I feel like we saw everything there was to see in the Jewish quarter, and we got some great stories and information. I recommend this tour.

This thorough and highly informative tour allowed me to discover the best of Prague’s Jewish Quarter. Jana is an amazing storyteller and I’ll definitely look for some other tours of hers! Well done!

Excellent directions and very forgiving if you make a wrong turn. Got more info from this tour than from previous day’s in-person tour guide.

We had heard the Jewish Quarter was an interesting part of the city to explore but we had no tour planned or had any background information. So we purchased this to get some history. It turned out to be one of our favorite things we did in Prague. Prague is best seen by foot, just walking around and exploring, and the audio guide gave us a great background to the city. We learned lots about the Jewish Quarter and the city itself. It made us feel connected to the city. So thankful we purchased this!
