This is a very worthwhile adventure. We rented a car and drove from Saville, Spain. The drive wars wonderful. Parking the car and the Spain side and walking across the border we met our guide. Our group of six had a private tour which was fantastic. We saw so much and our guide was very knowledgeable. We did not feel rushed one bit and did run over our time limit. Our guide did not stress, he let us explore and gave us the extra time needed. From the bottom to the top, from the hikes to the monkeys, don't miss this tour!

Tommy was absolutely THE BEST tour guide! Born and raised in Gibraltar, he knows absolutely everything about the rock and is happy to share his knowledge and stories. He was waiting for us at the exit of the cruise port in his comfortable van. I would highly recommend this tour to get the most out of your time in The Gib. Loved it!!!

A previous "tour" of Gilbralter years ago was done by taxi.
THIS time, since we were a group of 5, we did a private tour and it was so worth it!
Our guide, Tommy, was brilliant. As a long time resident, he knew the history, the short cuts around other tour groups and even the names of the macaques.
He had great personal stories and we appreciated his special care of our 95 year old mother who had this small country on her bucket list.
Hope you are lucky enough to have Tommy as your guide!

Excellent Experience! We were on a cruise & were met on time & exactly where we were told by our guide. Our guide was very friendly & extremely knowledgeable. We saw all the attractions that we had wanted to see & learned so much about Gibraltar from our guide. It was almost like touring with friend! Seamless, easy, informative experience that cost less than what the cruise line offered. I highly recommend this tour.

Our guide, Dennis, a Gibraltarian, was wonderful! His love for his homeland was evident as he shared Gibraltar’s fascinating history.
Dennis timed our stops perfectly to avoid the crowds as much as possible. The siege tunnel and WWII tunnels were fascinating.
It was fun to watch the monkeys, especially the babies, interacting with each other and people, who they usually just ignore. Sometimes the monkeys would jump onto a parked vehicle and play.
The stalactites and stalagmites in Saint Michaels Cave were absolutely breath taking! The sound and light show inside the cave is not to be missed. I highly recommend this private tour!

This was one of the best excursions we did on our entire 2 week trip across Europe. Tommy was a wonderful tour guide and I just can’t say enough nice things about him and the tour. We were a large (9 people) family group with all ages/interests and there was something for everyone. Tommy was very friendly and super knowledgeable about the history and culture of Gibraltar and had our whole group listening attentively the entire time. He also told a bunch of personal stories as he grew up there which added to the experience. The highlight of the day was the view from the top of the Rock and the monkeys! We were so glad to be in our own comfortable, air conditioned van with a knowledgeable tour guide and were able to navigate the stops on our own without a giant group to deal with. He also dropped off those of us in town who wanted to shop with great recommendations for lunch and what to do, and drove back those that wanted to get back on the ship. If you are looking for a fun excursion that gives you a wonderful overview of the area I would highly recommend ! Our entire group is still talking about the wonderful day we had with Tommy!

This was an incredible experience for our family and we cannot suggest it enough if you’re coming to Gibraltar. Tommy’s communication from the time of booking was excellent, and our local guide and driver Dylan was knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating and welcoming. If you’re coming to Gibraltar, this is the best way to get a personalized tour.

We all really enjoyed this visit to The Rock. We visited St Michaels Caves, The Apes Den & The War Tunnels.
Our guide was knowledgeable and stopped to allow us to take photos.
If you’re going to Gibraltar I’d advise you to take one of these tours.
Either book in advance and be met at the border or walk to Trafalgar Cemetery and board a tour there.
Great Value for what we saw and did!
