The Sacred Valley of the Incas is one of the most beautiful and historically well visited places of Peru. In those times, the Valley was one of the bases of Incan empire, the river that winds its way through believed to be aligned with the cosmos. The valley is also home to many indigenous people living the same way they have been for centuries and it’s possible to visit local markets and communities. Explore the best places such as the land of the rainbow of Chinchero, Moray, the ancient salt mines of Maras and also discover the ancient Incan citadel of Machu Picchu with our expert private guide who’ll make the ruins come alive with history.

The 2-day trip in Sacred Valley (we visited beautiful Chinchero, Moray and the salt mines of Maras) and Machu Picchu, is no doubt the highlight of our Peru trip. Thanks to John's arrangement, we are lucky to get the Route 1+2 ticket to Machu Picchu the very last minute, how lucky we are!! We like John, he is knowledgeable, patient, has a great sense of humor... We had such a good time together in our private tour. Thank you John and your team!

What an incredible experience. Our guide John took us to where his family actually does the spinning and weaving of bland and other products. They were so welcoming and informative. His dad was also our driver for the tour, a truly family affair! Machu Picchu was amazing and the little town we stay in for the night was great. I recommend this tour if you want a really special experience.

First of all, Please be aware that LATHAM the largest airline serving south America is notoriously unreliable and will cancel flights at the last moment ( one of our flights was canceled right before the boarding gate).
THANKS TO JOHN AND HIS FATHER, they were very accommodating and flexible, my family were able to see Machu Picchu and completed our tour in Peru and in Chile.
As stated above, we pre booked all our tours and activities in both country based on our arrival time in Peru.LATHAM canceled our first three flights which affected all other ensuing schedules. Chances are that we will miss seeing Peru's most iconic Machu Picchu , John was able to rearrange all our schedules for us and the trip went smoothly. As for INTIPERU itself, We had A BLAST and feel safe at all time. John and his father( the driver ) took us to places on the itinerary and off the itinerary ie places where locals go for food and local landmarks. Book your tours with them, you will not be disappointed.

My family and I had a wonderful experience with Inti Peru Adventures, and especially with our guide, Edgar. He was the most personable guide we've ever met - he was informative, friendly, and quickly became like part of the family. All of the sights were amazing and the logistics wonderfully coordinated. I don't think you could possibly ask for a better tour or experience. We really appreciated that Edgar met with us two days before the tour to review the plans and make sure we were set with everything we needed. Our family can't emphasize enough how amazing this company and Edgar were - it made the Machu Picchu and Peru experience even better!

We had Edgar as our Inti Peru tour guide. He's a super nice guy and gave us an amazing local's view of the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu area. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the area and the cultural, economic, and spiritual significance of each place we visited. We highly recommend Inti Peru Adventures!

Great trip, fantastic tour guide. The driver and our tour guide were very kind and dedicated to us. We visited different places at our own pace. Completely recommended for families. I travelled with my two years old daughter and my mother in law. Both of them enjoyed the trip.

We toured Chinchero and Moray and Edgar also took us to a textile area where we were shown how the different wool and alpaca materials were made. We also took the train to Machu Picchu first thing in the morning. Edgar’s passion for the Peruvian people and the Inca civilization really made the tour unforgettable! We leave with a new appreciation of the people and history of Peru and a new Peruvian son😉

We opted for an organised tour to ensure access to Machu Picchu, we cannot fault the organisation whilst in country by "Peru Adventures", there were however some concerns prior to departure from the UK as the operator "Viatour" sent emails late and required some chasing. we were met by the "Peru Adventures" rep the night before to explain the following two days itinerary. The sacred valley tour whilst a little interesting was by no means the highlight and we could of perhaps done without this. I would suggest that the Viator amend the website to explain that the cost of the entrance for the sacred valley tour $25 needs to be in local currency as this is all they accept. If your thinking of upgrading to the Vistadome train you may wish to confirm train times as it gets dark early and we would have been disappointed had we upgraded. The hotel that was included in the deal was adequate, but the evening meal for some bizarre reason was not in the hotel, but half way across town, which posed a problem for us trying to return as all bridges were closed for an hour. Our guide for the two days was excellent, very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I'm unsure who arranges the train tickets, "this may be out of the tour operators control" however the return trip we and many others were not allocated seats together. This was rectified by passengers moving around by themselves. This may be something the operator may wish to investigate.
