Explore Damnoen Saduak, the most popular floating market in Thailand, great for photo opportunities, food, and for giving an insight into a bygone way of life.

Then continue to Talad Rom Hoop, also known as 'Train Umbrella Market', for a unique market experience.
The market literally sits on the railway track and every day customers and shopkeepers make way for the Bangkok-Maeklong train to pass. With the ringing of a warning bell followed by an announcement in Thai over the loudspeaker, the vendors pull back their awnings within seconds. Amazing!

MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS PER GROUP IS 10 PERSONS.

We went on the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market & Railway Market tour with our family during our stay in Bangkok.
Suan and her driver were great. Picked us up from our hotel and took good care of us for the entire day. The only disappointment was the heavy traffic en route to the markets, but that was out of their control.
Would highly recommend Suan to anyone looking for a personalised experience.

It was a well guided tour. Though in beginning some confusion about starting time, at end they started 10:30 as it was printed. Journey was very good.

What a fun half day trip! My partner and I signed up for the earlier departure of this tour in June (low season) and ended up being the only ones, so we basically had a private tour! Our guide Siri, and her assistant Benz, were wonderful! They were both knowledgeable, very funny, answered all of our questions (and gave great recommendations), and took a ton of great photos for us! We started at the Railway Market about an hour-ish away from the city, and Siri brought us to the perfect spot within the market to watch everything happen as the 9am train ran through the market. Afterwards we had some time to walk around and shop before heading to the next stop. At the temple inside the banyan trees, Siri led us around the complex and explained more about the history of the military site and a bit about muay Thai before we visited the gold Buddha inside. Then, off to the floating market for a 30 minute longtail boat ride throughout- a super fun experience, picking up beers from other boat vendors and looking at everything to eat and enjoy. We had about an hour afterwards to explore the old and new markets, and had a great lunch at Siri’s recommendation. Finally, we all rested and napped during the drive back - our driver was wonderful and we were kept cool! We would definitely recommend this tour, and Siri and Benz in particular!

We had a great time. Tony got us to the Railway market in perfect time. And organised the boat at the floating markets so we were ahead of a large group. Tony was so informative, great tour guide.

It was a wonderful trip. Our guide (Keith) spoke good English and gave us a brief history of Thailand. He answered every question and accommodated us at every turn. I certainly recommend this trip and WanderSiam.
