Discover the magic of Morocco on a private day trip to Tangier from Cadiz. Morocco lies just across the Mediterranean Sea from southern Spain, but this North African country feels like a world away!
We journey across the Strait of Gibraltar on a high-speed ferry and arrive at the port of Tangier where you will be met by our private local guide.
Taking an interesting drive through the richest area of Tangier’s zone of villas and palaces passing via the king's palace and celebrities' homes.
Visit Cape Spartel which is the northeast western point of Africa, it is the exact point where the Mediterranean and the Atlantic Ocean meet. Then visit the Caves of Hercules (dating from the Neolithic era). A stop to take pictures of the camels and experience a ride. (Not included. 5 euros extra)
We then head for the Kasbah and the Medina, the oldest and the most exotic part of this mythical city in time for lunch (included) and an opportunity to be in direct contact with the friendly locals!

I was initially hesitant based on Viator's reviews, but it was not warranted. Mark our agent was flexible, timely and detailed. Although our hotel was not listed, they arranged our pickup and drop-off. He provided a very detailed itinerary with the names and contact information of each of our contacts at various points of our excursion.
Pros:
Driver to and from the port was hands-on and ensured we were taken care of before he left us at the ferry (thank you Carlos); he was waiting for us upon our return.
Juan had our tickets for the ferry and told us how to complete it. He was very efficient.
The best was our guide in Morocco, Tifo, he was very knowledgeable, personable, and compassionate when my husband 's back began to bother him. The historical and cultural information he provided made us want to know so much more.
The camel ride
The tour stops

Cons:
One day is not enough time because the times the ferry leaves bind you.
Also, knowing it was a holiday would have been great because some places were not open, but we would have still made the trip.

We will be back because it was such a great experience which left us wanting more. Thank you for such a rich experience.
