The Castle of the Moors allows you to admire, along the paths of round, between cliffs and cliffs, a unique landscape that extends to the Atlantic ocean. Overlooking the Serra de Sintra, with irregular configuration, it consists of a fortification built around the 10th century after the Muslim conquest of the Iberian Peninsula, and enlarged after the Christian reconquest.

Definitely go with a private tour! Fernando was an awesome tour guide and had such a great personality. He told lots of stories and was very engaging. Unfortunately our day trip was met with a heavy fog and rain. Restaurant that we were taken to for lunch was phenomenal. We had the grill Sea Bass!!

The drive Fernando was excellent. He organized all and took us to the great locations as well as Sintra. At Sintra we were passed over to a different guide, Alfonso, he was very knowledgeable but he treated us as an unnecessary add-on to his tour group, a bit disappointing. He needs to be told to be more inclusive on his group.

This tour is certainly worth taking a full day of your trip. Sintra is amazing! Gorgeous views; beautiful nature. Definitely a must see if you are visiting Lisbon. It was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city for the day. It was so nice having a tour guide leading us to the right spots along the narrow, twisty roads.

Anna Campos is a great guide who is very knowledgeable. She is especially great for those traveling with children since she is very motherly and eccentric. Her motherly nature helped the kids feel comfortable and her eccentricity entertained them endlessly.

Wonderful tour and tour guide! Diogo brought the Sintra area to life for us. He was extremely patient answering all our questions and pacing the tour to suit our needs.
The private tour experience was amazing, and well worth the price. We entered several of the sites through a special line reserved for the tour guides, and we really did "skip the line".
We ate together at a local Sintra restaurant and had a wonderful meal and a great experience.
It was the best way to see the Sintra area, since we only had one day in Portugal.
Thank you, Diogo, for making our time in Portugal so special!

We had a fabulous tour. Goncalos Dias was a wonderful guide. We travel a lot and Goncalas was one of the best guides we have had. He is very enthusiastic and know. The individual private tour was awesome.

Anna, our guide, provided an excellent tour. Since she was local to the Cascais area, she shared interesting facts that others may not have known. She took us to a wonderful restaurant for lunch that overlooked the water. We had a great experience with her and highly recommend this tour.

A complete 5 STAR experience!! We loved every moment with Diogo who was an exceptionally educated and enthusiastic guide. We could not have asked for more and appreciated his obvious love for his job which translated into an incomparable customized experience for us! My family was worried about an 8 hour tour but at the end everyone said it was their favorite tour of our trip. Thank you Diogo for spending the day with us!
