We love birds and after a few days of staring at birds in the cities, we knew we needed to get out and do a proper bird adventure. Thankfully, a company like Doñana Wings is there to help. Vicente was an amazing guide taking us to Doñana and explaining the history of this important place. He knew all the great spots and we saw all the birds we were hoping to see (marbled teal, white face duck, Iberian magpie) plus some birds we didn’t even know we were looking for (little owl!)
We all had a great time and there was never a dull moment. In between birding spots, Vicente was a great teacher about Spain, Sevilla and other topics. I should note that our Espanol is muy mal but thankfully Vicente’s English was excellent.
Great day all around and added a bunch of birds to our life list. I just wish there was a Doñana Wings in all the cities we were headed to.

Excellent day trip to this UNESCO World Heritage Centre. Our guide Arturo was very knowledgeable and took a lot of trouble to ensure that we saw as many birds as was possible on this day trip. My husband who has a particular interest in birds and photography would have loved to stay longer but we could not fit in more time. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who loves nature.

Vicente is a top notch guide and I have had dozens in many countries. He does exactly what you hope in finding and helping to identify the birds of the area around Donana National Park but the extras make him stand out. His English is excellent and he is a fine driver. He seeks to care for all the participants asking if water is needed, are we comfortable, does any one need to stop etc. I appreciated that he seemed genuinely interested in the birds and also in his clients. Be assured you will have an excellent day with him as a guide.

We booked a Big Day of birding with Doñana Wings and had an absolutely wonderful day. Vicent arrived on time and from sunrise to sunset took us all over to see as many birds as possible. From eagles to vultures to songbirds, shorebirds and owls, we saw so many birds. We saw many of Spain’s endemic species such as the Spanish Imperial Eagle, the Iberian Grey Shrike, the Little Bustard and the Iberian Green Woodpecker. Vicent took us to a variety of habitats and personalized the trip for us, prioritizing seeing as many birds as possible and minimizing stops. Vicent is extremely knowledgeable about the birds, their habits and habitats. We had a great day out with him and I hope we can go back soon and spend another day birding with him. I give him my highest recommendation as a bird guide.

A wonderful day of birdwatching. Vicent was a fantastic guide with formidable knowledge of birds. Wonderful quality binoculars supplied and the opportunity to use a scope to see far off species. We saw 77 species and were impressed with Vicent's ability to spot birds. Highly recommend this tour.

My husband and I toured the Brazo del Este with Vicent. He is a marvellous guide. His English is great, his driving professional, and his optical equipment (Zeiss scopes and binoculars) top of the range.
Most importantly, his birding expertise is quite remarkable. In five hours we saw fifty species, including some incredible ones like yellow crowned bishops and fan tailed warblers. I doubt we would have seen half of them on our own. We'll never forget the sight of glossy ibises in flight from a marsh harrier.
Another tour with Vicent will be the birding highlight of our next trip to Seville. We recommend him and his company most highly.
Update February 2024: we enjoyed a second day’s birding with Vicent - we were thrilled to see three different environments in one day: Donana, the Sierra Norte and Seville environs. Our particular highlight was a tree with twenty nesting white storks which has become my new screensaver.
Vicent really knows his birds, has excellent English and has first rate Zeus’s equipment. If you are thinking of a birding tour whilst you are in Seville, do give him a call!

Finding Vicent was truly a reunion and a great success. We hired "Doñana wings" with the intention of optimizing time during the scarce 2 days that we were going to be in the area. The choice could not have been better. The coincidences of life made us see Vicent again, our guide and person in charge of "Doñana wings", after many years of sharing hobbies. His ornithological and particular knowledge of the area allowed us to enjoy a lot of interesting species. Their enthusiasm for showing and sharing their observations made this walk an experience to repeat. Although the visit ended at 4:00 p.m., he was with us until almost 6:00 p.m. Thank you, Vicent, for your interest and for your time. See you soon

A wonderful day out with Vincent. The first half of the day was spent looking for lynx. Sadly for us, no animals seen but lots of signs - scat and prints. Vincent is exceedingly knowledgeable about lynx - numbers in the region, life of the lynx etc. Lots of birds seen as we were lynx spotting which was an added bonus. This was followed by an afternoon in the Brazo del Este area birdwatching. Lots of species that I had not seen before, including some species that I particularly wanted to see. Vincent was a most attentive guide, making sure that I saw the species that I had particularly requested to see, making sure that the scope was adjusted for my height (I'm not very tall), manouvering his vehicle to ensure that we got the best views of species of particular interest, checking that we were not getting too hot (it was hot 36/37C in early Oct). We definitely would not have seen anything like the number and range of birds had we not had Vincent as our guide nor learned as much about the species that we saw or about wildlife in Spain.

I had an amazing birding trip with Vicent Esteller of Donana Wings Birding! We went to seven different locations in Donana National Park and saw 95 species (some species repeated at the different locations). I got 46 Life Birds! Some highlights were the Marbled Teal ducks, a White Headed duck, Ospreys, Black and White Storks, Glossy Ibis, Flamingos, all three Sandpiper species, and many more! My favorite was when a Red Kite soared overhead and I could see the the V in its bright Red Tail. Vicent really liked the “Blue Chickens” (Western Swamphens) as they make him laugh.
Vicent was an excellent guide, knowledgeable, very quick eye, really knew his birds. He is also a very nice person, funny, patient and great to spend the day with. He gave me a lot of information on the challenges they are having with the wetlands in Donana and about the projects they have going on to improve the wetlands. My trip with Vicent exceeded my expectations for the day and was a highlight of my trip to Spain! If you are thinking of Birding anywhere in the Seville are, I highly recommend that you contact Vicent.
