One of the most enjoyable and incredible experiences my family has ever had on an excursion. We booked this directly while on a cruise to Puerto Plata through DSRR. Jhonie was our driver and JB was our tour guide. What a great team. Jhonie stayed with our things and helped us with anything we needed. JB was so energetic and engaging with our family. His sense of humor was perfect and he went out of his way to take plenty of pictures and video while we enjoyed hiking to the falls and jumping and sliding into the water below us. The food was excellent. JB went the extra mile for us as we toured a place that grew local fruits, and rolled handmade cigars. We had the best mango, dragonfruit, guanábana, and coconut we’ve ever tasted. JB and his team are the best at what they do and will ensure your family has the best time possible.

Absolutely best excursion experience ever! So glad we did not do the one from the cruise, as this was such a personalized experience and a lot cheaper. Our family of 8 had a blast (our kids are from 9-17)! Worth every penny and a memory of a lifetime!

We booked this excursion during our NCL Caribbean cruise. This is a great family owned and operated business. We received great personalized service. The guide was very friendly and took great photos! I would highly recommend this company!

Overall great Excursion. Well organized and communication with DSSR was very good as our cruise ship arrived at port late and they adjusted everything to accomodate the change in time.

Pretty stiff hike for many, but everyone made it. Scary fun for everyone! We all were super happy we went, and would recommend to others, but don’t need to do it again. 🤣

So fun! Absolutely loved jumping and swimming through the waterfalls. It was very crowded when we went. We got to eat the nice buffet lunch, too (with cute mini coke zeros). Big fan, totally recommend and WAY cheaper than the cruise's excursion (which is the same thing without the food). Only thing I have to say is the port at Taino Bay is a maze and it takes like 15 mins to walk through it and the "gate" is like a dinky thing with officers on the left of it. It's not super obvious. You meet the excursion people outside of the gate.

Our best excursion EVER! I cannot begin to say how awesome this tour was. My 18 and 14 year olds and I absolutely loved this! The guides were fun and informative.

The waterfalls are wonderful and feel great after the hike up the mountain. Best to book outside of the cruise ship and be sure to try and go earlier in the day to beat the crown.
