Feel the anticipation of exploring a new place, of swimming in a river of pure water born at the peak of the same mountain you are. Our guide will escort you on a memorable journey where you will delight in your surroundings, see beautiful landmarks, take refreshing dips in the streams, and get to enjoy this Nature Walk.
Our tour guide will meet you at your hotel or location, at the previously accorded pickup time (contact us for confirmation). From there, we will head east through the coastal road boarding the beautiful beaches in the town of Loíza. Exposition regarding our Puerto Rican heritage, and live commentary and interpretation of your surroundings can be given in both English and Spanish throughout the journey. After this time, we head back to your lodgings.

It's definitely worth a visit to El Yunque. We chose a ship's tour over this one only due to timing of the tour and our ship's early departure from PR.
El Yunque is a totally different experience of PR than San Juan and beaches. We learned a lot about the flora and fauna and general environment of the forest, visited beautiful waterfalls and enjoyed the magnificent scenery. While others in my family were sweating in Old San Juan, we were blessed with shade and cool breezes on a hot day!

Rafael was a great tour guide!! He was so knowledgeable and just a great sociable person to have for this tour. We really lucked out having him for this experience. He was so sweet to my niece and he even made her a hat out of a huge leaf we gathered along our small hike. This tour is really great for the elderly and young children. It's mostly driving in an AC provided bus touring the rain forest, we made about 3 stops in El Yunque and one of those was a brisk nature walk that led to our stop at the river (not too extreme of a hike, like i said my 5 year old niece could do it with ease). Overall, i would recommend this tour to experience of El Yunque, even with small children, to anyone! Just don't expect a crazy hike, because that's not what you're getting :)

Our guide Rupert was AWESOME! Very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. This is a laid back (non hiking) tour with a few stops and plenty of sightseeing. I highly recommend it.

What a unique place in such an amazing island. The people here are as resilient as they come!!! With all this island has gone thru the people as the most welcoming and warm. Rafael our tour guide was amazing. What a pleasure to have him as our guide. His driving was a mastery rarely seen!! Our safety was of the upmost importance. His knowledge of the rainforest was impressive. He made everyone in our group feel welcome and had us all chatting and hanging out as family. I sprained my ankle in the rainforest and he was very attentive and always was checking on me. The rainforest was great, the river he took us for a dip was perfect and we had fishes swimming around us. Other tours that take you to lagoons technically are outside the rainforest. This was in the actual rainforest!!! Only Tropical Rainforest in the US Forest system. Luquillo beach was a party in itself. The energy, food kiosk, but especially the beach was amazing. Silky soft sand and the water was calm and very warm!!! Pick up and drop of made all the difference. Not having to drive and deal with the traffic was great. Plus after all the fun we all wanted a nap. Don’t think just book this tour. If you can ask for Rafael even better!!! Definitely the Isla Del Encanto!!!

If you are staying in SJ without a car and want a taste of another part of the island, this is a great excursion. Our tour guide was great! We were picked up at our hotel, picked up others along the way, and driven out to El Yunque. She gave us historical and current info about PR along the way. We stopped at a cool observation tower, a waterfall, and one of the rivers. Then we got to spend time in Luquillo at the kiosks and the beach, where our young adult kids rode a jet ski. We were then driven back to our hotel, getting back around 3:00 or so. This is the second time I’ve done an excursion to El Yunque, and both were great. Highly recommend!

This was an amazing tour. I went by myself and made lots of friends in my group. Our your guide Rafael was very knowedgable, fun and friendly. I definitelt recommend this tour, it’s worth the value!

Our tour guide, Rafael, was very knowledgeable, patient, and funny. Would do another tour with him! The rain forest hike was just enough for those of us with no hiking experience. The look out tower was beautiful. The only downside was the beach stop at the end. Not a beach I would return to. I did appreciate the AC in the tour van!
