Cusco Local Friend really lives up to the company's name. Guido was not only a knowledgeable and wise tour guide, but he made sure to tailor the experience to our needs and he knew all the best spots to eat and to take photos.
As if that wasn't enough, he went above and beyond taking great photos and videos of us using his previous experience as a photographer, showed us off-the-beaten-tourist-path spots like a picanteria only locals go to, gave us coca leaves to try, and more.
We felt really taken care of, had an amazing experience and by the end of the day we really felt he was a new friend.
The van and driver were great too. We couldn't have asked for a better way to see the Sacred Valley and get to Ollantantaymbo for our transfer to Machu Picchu.

Sam is a superb guide and he exactly knows how to narrate the details in a story form keeping the interest high. He also knows how to read your needs and paces the excursion accordingly!

Hi all. This cannot be described in words. You have to use service provided by Cusco Local Friends to understand level of detail they organized all the tours in the Cusco area - 4 days were: 1: One day inka trail that ends on Machu pichu where you can see view from the above.
2. Machu Pichu and optional (we did do) Huayna Picchu
3. Sacred Valley multiple sites
4. Rainbow mountain and optional Red valley - price included.
Hugo company owner was amazing. We keep in contact for past 5 months when i start arranging the trip. Hugo never sleeps. Your what’s up messages answered within minutes. If you need a phone call no problem as well. Once arrived Hugo gave detailed instructions what to bring what to do and what to expect on the first day. On the next morning we met with the tour guide and he took over taking care of us.
We did all private tours (they offer group tours as well) with Abraham- amazing very educated tour guide and then Williy - mini van driver joined us after 2nd day. As said before Abraham and company went above and beyond to make our trip memorable experience. On the last day it was very hard to say good bye.
I highly recommend Cusco Local Friend. I am sure all their guides are highly experienced

My daughter and I had an incredible day with many thanks to Edia, our guide, and the driver who led us to and from our hotel in Ollantaytambo to train station. Informative, thoughtful, prepared and thorough are all words attached to the effort. Communication leading up to tour was great. Well done!

WOW. The experience with Cusco Local Friend was absolutely incredible. Our guide, Samuel, was one of the best tour guides we have ever had. He was kind, funny, knowledgeable and extremely friendly. It felt like we were going around the ruins with a friend, who happened to know everything about Machu Picchu. The views in Machu Picchu and the whole experience was GREAT... doing it with Samuel made it AMAZING.

"Look no more" is the title of my review. Door to door service! Cusco local friend will lay out the whole scary mess of travel in the sacred valley. We wanted to avoid the cattle bus feel from our experience as much as possible. First tell them your goals. Hugo and his team will provide you a scope of what they offer and then an itinerary. The whole thing is taken care of. It's that simple! Our english speaking guide Edia was as sweet and knowledgeable of the region as they come. I find value in effort, being prompt and communication. CLF nails all three!

We had an unforgettable day trip to Machu Picchu with this organization from the Valle Sagrado (where our hotel was). Excellently and flawlessly arranged from A to Z. Train tickets, Machu Picchu entrance tickets, private transportation from our hotel to Ollantaytambo train station. Had a great private tour of Machu Picchu by Edith, our guide. As far as we are concerned, a guide that we can highly recommend to everyone! Knowledgeable and very friendly. This day will stay with us forever!

My wife and I had an amazing time with our guide, Sam, at Machu Picchu. It was so great not having to worry about getting to and from our hotel or tickets to Machu Picchu. Everything was handled, and the tour was perfect. When we arrived the weather wasn't cooperating but Sam kept us in high spirits and assured us things would clear up, and sure enough, it did. Learned a ton and had a nice lunch afterwards. I would definitely recommend this company.

We worked with Hugo in the planning of the trip, Edwin who was our guide on Macchu Picchu, and Glorinda who drove us a few times while in Urubamba. Everyone was fantastic and we would love to work together with any of them again soon. Any concerns I had about coordinating transportation or navigating macchu Picchu quickly vanished as soon as I made contact with this team.
