If you only have one day in Naples, this is the tour for you! Our tour of the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii was breathtaking and awe inspiring. We were met by our tour guide, Francesco and a driver in a late model, well equipped tour mini bus- very comfortable. He was outgoing, friendly and very knowledgeable of the history and all of the best places to stop for souvenirs, snacks, and pictures. When we arrived in Sorrento, he gave us a brief tour before letting us explore on our own, with recommendations for the restaurant with the best view and delicious food. During our drive, he kept us entertained with local history and legends as well as a solo from our very talented driver. When he arrived at Pompeii, he arranged tickets very quickly and handed us over to the most amazing guide who had seemingly limitless knowledge of the history. It was an incredible experience, our group enjoyed every moment of our tour.

Our guides and driver were all very personable and polite. The views were breathtaking and the guide in Pompeii was very knowledgeable.

We were disappointed we could not go to the Amalfi Coast per a rock slide. But our tour guide, Chiara and driver, Alfredo, did a very good job!

Pompeii was intriguing and the Amalfi Coast was spectacular, but what made this day so memorable was having Mario as our guide. He was phenomenal and our family loved spending the day with him.
Mario showed up early, was knowledgeable throughout and helpful at every stop. He took care of details with tickets, parking, and restaurants and that allowed our group to maximize time at the sights.
Mario is high energy! But his warmth and charisma are genuine, as well as infectious. You will not be disappointed if he is your guide and driver. If we ever return to Italy, we are definitely calling Mario for our touring needs!

Visiting Pompeii was amazing. We weren't able to visit the Amalfi coast due to a rockslide blocking the road to Positano but we were allotted extra time in Sorrento as a result which was great. Guide, Chiara was very knowledgeable and worked hard to make out tour great.

Luigi and Enzo did a fantastic job showing us the sites. We really enjoyed the shopping in Sorrento and the tour of the ruins in Pompeii. We highly recommend this tour and the tour guides 😀

While we were able to see the sites offered, enjoy a lunch in Sorrento, and had an excellent guide at Pompeii, there were some things this tour could improve upon. The bus was leaking condensation from the A/C onto many passengers. The seats had very little leg room for people who are taller - we had to sit sideways the entire trip. And there was some disorganization at Pompeii. Why they weren’t purchased ahead of time and included in the cost of the tour was puzzling. So we wasted a solid 20 minutes while trying to figure out ticketing and queuing. Glad we went but would not necessarily chose this tour company again.

Sorrento and the views along the Amalfi Coast were breathtaking. Our tour guide was very informative and stops along the way for photos were great. Had a great driver in Danieli. Our private tour in Pompeii was awesome, although we had only 90 minutes, due to cruise departure. We were dropped in Sorrento with a 2 hour time limit, and we would have preferred a 1 hour tour and then an hour to ourselves, or a least a map of the highlights of the village. We actually followed a cruise ship tour group to get the history of the town.

Giovanni, our tour guide, picked us up from the pier meeting point at the start of what turned out to be a wonderful day. Visiting Sorrento on the Amalfi coast was a treat and the family loved it. We came away with fantastic family photos and memories. We were able to spend a full 3 hours exploring Sorrento with time for lunch. We feel so lucky to have had Giovanni as our guide, he was funny, engaging, knowledgable and very attentive throughout the tour. On the way back from Sorrento we stopped at Pompeii and spent another 2 hours being guided around the site. The trip to Pompeii is quite memorable and I’ll say I’d rank it as one of the best historical site tours we’ve been on. The history around the excavations is quite fascinating. At the end of the day tour we all agreed it was a wonderful day, and I’d say Giovanni played a large part in making sure we all enjoyed it. We couldn’t have had a more enjoyable day, thanks Giovanni!

Our cruise ship docked at a different location and we didn’t meet our guide until 8:40am. We had been waiting since 7:15am. We ride on the bus to go to Positano which was a little place selling all types of things about lemons. We were there 15-20 minutes but no restroom was available. We made it back to Sorrento at 11:35 and the first thing most of the travelers did was use the restroom. We had 1:15 minutes to see Sorrento and eat lunch. We were supposed to arrive In Pompeii at 2pm but a wreck caused us to be delayed by 40 min. When we got to Pompeii we stood around for 15-20 minutes waiting for our Pompeii guide to get our ticket money from our bus guide. The guide for Pompeii was fabulous! She knew the history and she would answer any questions. In the 1:40 minutes we had with her she covered a lot of ground.
