100% recommend… the horses were calm the view on the beach was amazing. The tour guides were very helpful and friendly.

Highlights were the friendliness of staff and the actual beach horse ride itself…beautiful scenery and beach. Horses looked to be well looked after and chilled.
However, several thumbs down did spoil it a bit 👎
Most importantly, transport was an open truck with no seat belts and is a death trap!!. We had a dangerous situation when our driver overtook a cement truck and at the same time a car from behind overtook us….on a 2 lane highway….very scary and the transportation truck was old, so didn’t have much engine power to overtake.
The advertised 2 hour tour is actually 4+ hours!!.
We were fine with being shown all the pics and videos afterwards (it’s normal), but did not appreciate the whole group being told to “follow me” by the tour guide and being leaded into their gift, souvenir store which put an additional 30+ minutes onto the trip.
Would have been far nicer to be open and give everybody 10-15 minutes to explore and being up front about it before leaving instead of forcing everybody to go…. Not nice!!.
We ended up taking an UBer back to our hotel, mostly because the transportation was not safe or comfortable.

You won’t regret booking this one! It was a breathtaking experience. We rode the horses along the beach. It was absolutely amazing. Not just the horses but the workers are so nice. The service from the staff made the experience 10 times better. I felt so safe with them because they were experienced and knew what they were doing. Anytime an issue would come up they were so quick to react. It was so great.

We’re always sceptical about booking trips when abroad but we needn’t have worried. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly employee who told us where to go and fill out a form. There was no safety chat just given a helmet and told to get on the horse. Both the guides we had were friendly and, funny and very helpful. Their English was the best but better than our Spanish. We took a leisurely stroll along the beach and through a wooded area where we greeted by a young lad with a machete 😂. Thankfully it was only needed to cut into coconuts. A couple of dollars tip and he was happy. There was no issue with taking our phones and took pictures as we were riding. My wife and I were able to canter along the beach but other members of our group did not, not sure why? The route is quite picturesque but unfortunately there is quite a lot of rubbish in parts which is a shame. A photographer followed us and took a lot of photos which did take a long time but thankfully there were not a lot of people in our group. On arrival back at the ranch we were shown the pictures which we did not buy and there was no hard sell. $100 for photos,magnet and bottle of mamajuana with picture label. On exit you’re guided through a gift shop by a friendly man but again no hard sell. The journey there was not the best though, about 40 minutes in an open lorry with very uncomfortable seats. On the whole though a good couple of hours. As a side note the horses looked in great condition and well looked after.

Friendly staff and horses. Beautiful memory made horseback riding along the beach. Would do again. We got caught in the rain and even then was beautiful.

It was an OKAY experience however, during the walk, they will stop and force you to take pictures of you and your horse and the PICTURES ARE NOT INCLUDED AND THEY CHARGE HIGH ON USA CURRENCY( are we in dominican?, f@ck i don know). What's the point on spending 45 min of your trail time for pictures that they will chage after.. nonetheless, staff is friendly and they will assist in anything.

Best experience!! The whole excursion was amazing. Our pick up at Grand Sirenis to the ranch( maybe 5 minutes) in air conditioned van. The tour guides were very nice and organized with helmets and matching you with your horses. All the horses look very well cared for. The ride was beautiful along the beach. Definitely worth it to go! The only part I didn’t like was they do a photo shoot with u whether u want to or not. They did try to sell us the photos in one package with a cd but when we said no there was no pressure. I would recommend and go again!

It was a nice experience. Beautiful scenery and horses Guides are great and friendly. However, our pickup from the Princess Caribe on the open air bed truck was an hour and 20 min (Nexus operator told us 25min) The seats are not very padded and the ride isn’t the smoothest so if you have a sore back or bottom be ware. The actual horseback riding is around an hour. They stop for about 20 min when they reach the beach so they can take pictures and you can too. Then you ride down the beach to a river estuary that exits into the ocean. You stop here and dismount for 30 minutes ( give or take). It’s a nice spot. Would have been nice to receive a cold water or beer at this point. You them ride back along the beach again. The horses know the routine so they are anxious to get back and try to speed up. Expect a sore bottom from bouncing in the saddle. Once you get back, you can wash your hands and then they sit the group down and show you the pictures and short videos they took and try to upsell you a copy on cd and a pint size bottle of. Mammy Juana with your picture on it for $85USD. They then guide you to a boutique on the property full of your typical tourist market items. It takes an hour from the end of the ride before you’re on the bus. Then another hour plus ride back to everyone’s resorts. Overall It’s a nice excursion with great opportunities for taking some memorable photos but they could really speed things up at the end of the ride because everyone is anxious to get back to their resort
