This Etna Tour adventure begins in the morning, visiting and discovering amazingly beautiful sites along the way. The guide will greet you at the meeting point or, if you choose the pickup service, at your accommodation. He will lead you throughout the old villages sitting at the foot of Etna. Along the way, we will make a few stops. As a result, you will appreciate the remarkable places, while listening to the tales of your guide.
No hiking and climbing preparation required. Although, there are no steep climbs, the surface is uneven in some places. The path will be approximately 3 km (2 miles) and last around 1 hour and 30 minutes. Certainly a visit suitable for children and kids of all age.

Our group of five was really looking forward to this. Unfortunately, Etna was uncooperative as the volcano was just too active to allow people to go on the regular tours. Our guide, Roberto, helped us make the most of our journey by taking us on an extended hike over the ash to visit craters and the results of past eruptions. Roberto is not only a cool guy, but is obviously possessed of great knowledge of Etna and volcanos across the globe. He is a true professional who increased our understanding of the impact of volcanic eruptions and how they affect the past and future of earth. On a side note, we appreciate the fact that Etna Unlimited only charged us half due to the inability take the regular tour.

My recent visit to Etna was extraordinary. As one of the most active volcanoes in the world, Etna offers a unique and thrilling experience.
Roberto, the guide tour, was extremely knowledgeable about Etna's history, geology, and recent activity. He also provided fascinating insights into the various eruptions and their impact on the region.
The drive was scenic, with winding roads offering spectacular views of the surrounding landscape.
The panoramic views from Etna are stunning!!
The highlight of the tour was walking around the craters.

This was the highlight of our stay in Sicily. Our guide was Marco a certified guide but also a geologist from the U of Catania and a most engaging ''professor''. We have use the services of many professionnals guides before, but Marco clearly stands apart. Highly knowledgeable, engaging and amicable Marco is a well of knowledge when it comes to Etna and volcanic activities. Very generous with his time, he even escorted us on the 4 X 4 All terrain bus ride up to the maximum allowed height on Etna. This was a bit of a misunderstanding but both Marco and his boss Mateo sorted it out most professionnaly. Kudos to them, they run a most commendable business. Recommended without any doubt.

Wonderful fun and informative experience. Roberto filled our minds with stimulating facts and history and our hearts with warmth and laughter…the adventure included hiking and cave exploring and views that were breathtaking. A must when in Taormino.

An exciting day, forever imprinted in our hearts: fantastic landscape dominated by the majesty of Etna.
