Our guide Akrivi was fantastic, couldn’t ask for better. Her knowledge and insights into the history of Knossos made our time there so much greater than what we imagined. Knossos itself is gorgeous and amazing on its own but it’s a 100% more enjoyable with a friendly and knowledgeable guide, like Akrivi to put everything you are seeing into context.

Akrivi really brought Knossos and Minoan society to life for us. She was knowledgeable and very friendly. I felt that I came away with a much better understanding of the palace than I could have achieved on my own.
I would highly recommend Akrivi as a guide. It was absolutely time well spent.

Arriving was a very wonderful guide. She spoke English very well and explained all many interesting points. She kept my teenage daughters attention the whole time. I loved learning about the Minoan history (herstory 😜). Thank you. Highly recommended!!!

I was recently at the Knossos Palace and we had a small tour, but it was WONDERFUL. Our tour guide, Marina, gave a detailed and interesting tour complete with a positive outlook on an advanced culture. We paid 50 € for two people, and only had four total people on the tour. The other two people were friendly and we had a blast! I can’t thank our tour guide enough, and she made it unforgettable. It was a fun outlook on History. She told us she gave tours in English, Greek, Swedish, and German. I HIGHLY SUGGEST you do this. If you do, ask for Marina!
