We had a wonderful time on our e-bike tour with our guide, Yuichi. A brilliant way to see Kyoto, which is diverse, unique and beautiful. Yuichi was knowledgeable, helpful and a superstar photographer! Bikes were really great to ride and we felt like we saw many varied parts of Kyoto. Would highly recommend!

Hiroyuki Saito was our bicycling guide and he was great! Guides can make or break and experience. Hiro met us on time and took it from there. H's excellent English, sense of humor, and attention to safety made cycling through town to the Bamboo Forrest a blast. If you need an English speaking guide, he's your man. Happy cycling!!

Yuichi took us to several gorgeous places like The Bamboo Forest, The Golden Temple, trekking off the beaten path through rice paddies and through historic and charming neighborhoods to gives us a sense of the ‘real Kyoto’ …not just the touristy areas. And he took great photos of use too.

Tibor was great - very knowledgeable and interesting. I think it helped that he studied religion in the UK and lived in both Japan and the UK. Great bike tour. I highly recommend this tour, and if you can get Tibor as your guide, even better!

This was the best tour to do for our family. Kaz was amazing as our guide. He was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about Kyoto. We saw some amazing sites that we wouldn’t have otherwise known about. Our kids will remember this as a highlight of our trip.

This was simply brilliant! Our delightful and knowledgeable guide, Kazuhiro-san, reminded me of my favourite teacher from school with his love of his subject and our questions and learning. We covered so much ground on the very easy to use e-bikes, from the Emperor’s Gate at the Palace to charming back streets and hidden quirky gems.

Without this tour we would have missed a lot of hidden gems. Kaz is a great guide. Biking through the busy streets was fun and Kaz made us very comfortable doing so. The geisha area is beautiful and we even had a chance to see 2 married couples having their wedding photos taken in their traditional kimonos. It was very cold but Kaz had rain ponchos and hand warmers for us. So prepared!!!

Our e-bike tour guide was full of interesting information about both Kyoto and Japan. We grilled him all morning and he never tired of answering our questions. He was also an interesting guy to talk to and was clearly passionate about history, maps, languages (he spoke at least 3) and more. The route was enjoyable and an excellent way to see city highlights. Would absolutely recommend. Also, the bikes were in good shape and fun to ride.
