I booked this tour the same morning for departure from my hotel at 12:30 p.m. the same day. I received immediate confirmation of the reservation and was charged the entire amount. The driver never showed up, my hotel there contacted the tour operator who told us that it was canceled due to a late reservation. And Tripadvisor offers a partial refund that doesn't even cover half of the service! It's a scam!

Our guide Mk was punctual and very friendly, Polite and agreeable to our requests! We stream lined our tour in order to catch our flight on time. His vehicle was perfect and comfy which was important to us as we were traveling with our 82 year old aunt.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this fascinating and thought-provoking tour of Soweto. M.K., our driver/guide, was knowledgeable and fun. He was able to pass on a fascinating account of life in Soweto — from its upscale sections to its shanty towns. We enjoyed our unique exchanges with real people in one of the shanty town neighborhoods. It was an excellent introduction to a part of South Africa that we had missed on two previous visits to this welcoming country. As for personal safety, we never felt threatened or tense at any time during our visit.
