Worth every penny!!!!!! This was by far our best and favorite experience of our cruise. A few different reasons why this was an absolute MUST for those who find themselves looking for a tour of Naples and surrounding areas.
To preface this - we are from Naples, Florida, USA and traveled as a group of 4 (myself, my husband, and my parents). This was our first Mediterranean cruise and we have all heard the horror stories of missing your port..
To begin, we decided this due to the locations we would visit, the private driver which allowed us to adjust our plans as need be (with cruises, things change last minute), the skip the lines tix at Pompeii with a tour guide..
Firstly, the communication was top notch! At any time, no matter what, either Diego or Mario were responsive within minutes. This was a big vote of confidence… they assured we knew exactly what to do when we arrived at the port in Naples.
Our Driver Luca was promptly waiting for us by 7am and had called us and text us to ensure we knew what to do the morning of the excursion (Luca would also drop us off in each location and give us a meeting point and time to simplify things. He would also call/text when time was running down and we had to get going). Luca was a fantastic driver and had a wonderful personality.. exactly what we were looking for.. throughout our drive from Naples port to Positano, he filled our commute with knowledge of his home land and bits of information from along the route. Luca made sure we traveled safely and enjoyed our time. Once we finished in Positano, we made our way to Sorrento. This was magical; another great stop in our short itinerary. Luca suggested a restaurant we stop at that had some of the most mouth watering tomatoes and Burrata I have ever eaten. We also had a 1 Meter 4 flavor pizza that was PHENOMENAL (from Franco’s pizzeria).
From there we scooted to Pompeii. This was my personal favorite. We had a private tour guide with skip the line tickets. Our tour guide was named Fabrizzio or Fabio for short. He is an archeologist who assists in the excavations at Pompeii. To say we were astonished and simultaneously educated is an understatement. Fabio made the Pompeii tour a truly unforgettable experience for myself and my family. His passion and story telling made us realize the depth and knowledge this civilization held.
We truly thank the team, Diego, Mario, Luca, and Fabio for a whimsical day in Italy.
We returned to our port with a little more than an hour to spare and had no regrets booking with this company and team. When we return to Italy, we will definitely use them again. Thank you!!!!

Mario was an exceptional guide and would definitely recommend him and would use him again. He made sure we beat some of the crowds from the ship excursions and brought us to places that the bigger buses can’t get to. He is very experienced and knows the area very well. We visited Positano, Sorrento, lunch in a fabulous restaurant with in reduce pizza, then hired a private guide for the 2 hours in Pompeii (highly recommend having a guide) . Mario was the best and was worth it! He knows how to time the traffic and get you back to the ship on time.

We absolutely loved our tour! Alessandro picked us up from the hotel and took us to Pompeii. Loreanda was our tour guide and she was great! Very informative and made it fun for our four young children. Afterwards, Alessandro suggested stopping by Ravello and shared with us his favorite restaurant. It was amazing! Then we continued through Amalfi to Positano and had a lovely time. He was very professional and treated us like family! It was one of our favorite excursions in Italy! Will highly recommend it!

Alex was great, very accommodating and knowledgeable. The guide suggested we start early to avoid the crowds at Pompeii and this was great. We were able to look around and see everything. The coast was beautiful and when we hit a little rain Alex had umbrellas for us.

Me and my two adult sons (23 and 29) just returned from the most amazing vacation. When I asked my sons what their favorite part was, without hesitation they both said “the trip to Positano, Sorrento and Pompeii with Diego.” From the moment Diego picked us up at the Naples cruise port, he treated us like family. He is from Naples (“Napoli”) and his genuine love for his hometown and nearby Sorrento and Amalfi Coast truly touched our hearts. Additionally, he was always available for me via WhatsApp whenever I had questions prior to booking and up until the tour day.
He took us via new air conditioned van to Positano first to avoid traffic and crowds. We had an hour to shop, walk down to the beach, grab a coffee, etc. It was just enough time for us to get a feel for Positano and realize that we’d probably like to go back and stay there next time. It was extremely hot and humid that day, so he had cold bottles of water waiting for us.
From Positano, we hopped in the van and headed to Sorrento. We also loved Sorrento! He made a lunch reservation for us and recommended his favorite gelato place (I’m afraid I developed a slight gelato addiction on this trip 🤣). We had an hour for shopping, strolling through town and then an hour for lunch. Again, just enough time and we did not feel rushed at all.
Our trip wrapped up at Pompeii where our guide Umberto met us and already had “skip the line” tickets purchased for us. Umberto was also amazing…so kind, knowledgeable and passionate about the history and area (he was also from Napoli). We spent about two hours here and could’ve spent longer, but we had to get back to our cruise.
I just cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed this tour with Diego and Umberto. I was worried at first that we were taking on too aggressive of an agenda, but Diego assured me we would love it and he was right.
If you are looking for a relaxing way to see a few of the top Naples/Amalfi Coast destinations, then I highly recommend booking this tour. You will leave with unforgettable memories and new friends who will be ready to welcome you back. “Grazie mille” Diego and Umberto!

Our family of five had a fabulous tour experience with Alessandro. The van was clean and comfortable, I was worried as my daughter gets easily motion sick but he was such a smooth driver despite the windy roads that she had none. He was friendly, passionate about this region and very informative. He recommended a fabulous restaurant for lunch with a view and helped get us into an impromptu olive oil tasting when the road to Positano was suddenly closed. I can’t recommend this group enough!! We also never worried about getting back to our cruise. The communication from start to finish was perfect. I even reached out to Mario through the Viator app ahead of time to see if he could help us with a tour guide for Pompeii and that was the best thing we did! Roberto walked us all around and kept my entire family engaged as he was so excited to share the stories of Pompeii and it made us want to learn more and more! Worth every penny we spent this day!!

This tour was by far one of the best tours that we have taken and we have traveled quite extensively. Our driver, Luca, was extremely accommodating, professional, and a true gentleman. He was polite, informative about the local culture, and we always felt safe while traveling on the narrow busy roads. We were traveling with an elderly family member who needed extra time/assistance walking and Luca was extremely accommodating. For the Pompeii portion of the tour and with the assistance from Luca, Mario, and Diego, we had a private tour of Pompeii which was incredible and highly recommend it to anyone. Communication from Mario and Diego prior to the tour was perfect, they provided tons of information and clear directions where and when to meet. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Naples area, you will not be disappointed at all. Luca, thank you for a wonderful experience today!

Eugenio was the best! He was very friendly and treated you as friends not a job. He was very proud of his country and showed us everything we wanted. Took us to a nice place for lunch across from Pompeii. Even made the reservation for us. We saw positano and sorrento just a beautiful day. Would highly recommend.
