Famous for its magnificent cliffside views, Positano has been featured in major motion pictures like “Only You” (1994) and “Under the Tuscan Sun” (2003). However, the beauty does not just lie in the spectacular scenery along the Mediterranean Sea, but also within the people you meet in the town. There is a sense of warmth in the narrow streets that are adorned with lemons, bougainvillea flowers and local artistry. The town is small enough to walk everywhere, and there is little need for transportation. Additionally, the town is very casual – from the small cafes to the cute shops. You will find one-of-a-kind treasures such as beautiful handmade ceramics, lemon fragrances and chic lace clothing. If you are creating an Italy itinerary, this is a must see city.

lla Rufolo is the jewel in the crown of the immense historical and architectonic heritage of Ravello. This monumental complex bears the name of the family which built it. In its heyday, in the 13th century, it numbered “more rooms than there are days in the year”. This extraordinary heritage has been partially eroded by the effects of time and negligence, but much has been retrieved, with new features being added in more recent times, starting from the invaluable efforts of the Scottish entrepreneur Francis Nevile Reid, owner of the Villa at the turn of the twentieth century. Over ten centuries the original core, a perfect synthesis of Arabic, Sicilian and Norman architecture, has accumulated new features, from the rather cumbersome 18th century cloister to the Romantic nineteenth century gardens, up until our own times, being currently used by the Fondazione Ravello, the Ravello Festival a

e Villa’s gardens are breathtakingly beautiful and contain a wealth “of the most beautiful imaginable flowers”. They were largely redesigned at the start of the 20th century, with the valuable input of the English gardener Vita Sackville-West. They are considered among the most important examples of the English landscape and botany culture in the South of Europe. As a result of the strong influence of classical literature and the reinterpretation of the Roman villa, numerous impressive decorative elements from all over the world were placed in the gardens, such as fountains, nymphaea, statues, small temples and pavilions. Some of them often hosted gatherings of the prestigious Bloomsbury Group, which chose Villa Cimbrone as a meeting place and source of inspiration.

What an incredible day from beginning to end. We came into Naples on a cruise and therefore had limited time to experience the area. Our guide, Mario, was waiting for us when we disembarked and made sure to check if there were any bucket list places/experiences on our list. We had a wonderful day spent driving along the Amalfi Coast stopping in beautiful Ravello and several other areas for panoramic views and great photo opportunities all while avoiding the big crowds of tourists. Mario took us to a great restaurant overlooking the coast where we had a delicious lunch and the local specialty, limoncello spritz. Mario and all of his guides hold guiding licenses that allow access to all the sites in the area. He is a history buff and shared details and stories throughout the day. He is professional, knowledgeable and a delightful host. It couldn't have been a more perfect day!

It was a very relaxing trip. We enjoyed our stops . Amalfi and Ravello were amazing! Lunch at Villa Cimbrone was delicious.

Spent the day having Luca drive us to around the coast.
First stop from Sorento was the Amalfi Coast.
Next we went to Ravello for some more views and then lunch.
The van was excellent and the air conditioning was even better.
Luca was an excellent guide and gave us loads on information on the villages along the way.
He let us customize our day and made lunch reservations for us!

We had a perfect tour of the Amalfi Coast, organized by Mario, visiting Positano and Ravello, and stopping by the road for magnificent views of Sorrento and Amalfi and other beautiful small towns. Our driver Eugenio was so full of knowledge and passion and would happily answer all our questions. He gave us great lunch recommendation and took us to a lovely agritourism restaurant in the mountains overlooking Ravello. The tour was fun, informative, comfortable and safe. We enjoyed our time with Eugenio and would definitely recommend this agency, Mario and his staff.

What an amazing tour! Our tour guide, Eugene, was by far the best tour guide ever! He was so knowledgeable of the Amalfi Coast and of Italy as well as its history. The scenery was stunning! We stopped at an authentic Italian restaurant which served a colorful selection of homemade cheeses, bread, meats and pasta. Did I mention the wine? Everything was perfect on our tour with Eugene. I would highly recommend this excursion.

My grandma and I loved the views here and this tour was by far our favorite part of our trip to Italy. Marco was an extremely helpful, accommodating, and kind driver - I would 1000% recommend!

Had a magical day with Marco as our driver. He arrived on time in a very nice and clean Mercedes van that comfortably fit our party of 6 (two seniors, 2 adults and 2 teens). He then drove us up to breathtaking Amalfi coast. The roads are windy and steep but Marco did an excellent job navigating and keeping us safe. He was also very knowledgeable and friendly.

The towns of Ravello, Positano and Sorrento were beyond magical! This was a definite highlight of our cruise/Europe trip and would strongly recommend!

I was somewhat anxious to try an excursion that was not part of our cruise line. I am so glad we did!! We were back to the ship in plenty of time and the quality of this tour exceeded the other excursions we booked in different ports with Royal Caribbean.

Today we enjoyed an excursion from Salerno to Amalfi & Ravello. Our guide & driver Luca collected us at our front door at 7.30 am and delivered us safely back at 2.30 pm. He tailored the tour to suit the changing weather of the day and in doing so we were blessed with some extraordinary views. Luca is passionate and knowledgeable and a local of Sorrento and we were privileged to be in his company. We highly recommend Luca and the service he provides.
The booking was made online before we left Australia. Mario was the contact person and in all dealings he was informative and efficient. I would recommend this company to anyone wanting to see the best of the Amalfi without the stress of driving yourself or using public transport - a truly first class service.

FANTASTIC tour of the Amalfi coast with our private driver Eugene! He was an AMAZING guy full of knowledge! His recommendation for lunch at the San Giovanni was 10/10! Delicious food and a wonderful view! We made stops in each city with about an hour to spend at each one. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour!!

Eugenio was the best driver. He made sure to point out all the views gave us interesting facts about what we were seeing. Stopped for lots of pictures and made sure we had good ones of us. His recommendation for lunch was fantastic. And after asking what we were wanting out of the day gave us some good pointers for the towns.
