Bến Dược is about 20km farther away then popular-Bến-Đình-area and attracts fewer tourists. There is also a massive temple in memory of Vietnamese killed at Củ Chi; it is, at present, the largest war memorial in Việt Nam.
The stimulation of this Củ Chi liberated area will give you insights into the architecture of the houses, the lives, the living, the fighting of the army and the people of Củ Chi in the period from 1961 – 1972.

Awesome tour from James and his driver! Picked up right at the hotel and had a smooth ride to the tour site. Everyone had a great time. Would highly recommend!

This tour was very worthwhile during the time of our holiday. Dana, our tour guide, fed us all the information and was very patient when we wanted to take photos and listen in to all the videos. Dana also had excellent English so she could answer all of our questions without hassle.
With her knowledge of history, we even got to meet a war veteran, which no other tour did.
I highly recommend taking the Tu Chi Tour

Dana was a bundle of energy from the moment she collected us from our hotel. Very informative, knowledgable and answered all our questions. The tour itself was a very sobering experience, it gives such insight into the conditions experienced during the Vietnam war. The sound of the gun shots in the background was chilling. It was sad to see some level of disrespect from other tour guests, people need to learn this is a historical landmark and should be respected at all times.
I would 100% recommend anyone considering a trip to Cu Chi to book this tour. Our pick up from the hotel was smooth, our driver was brilliant and chatted with us. We made a stop at a rest area on the way where we could purchase souvenirs if we wanted, we did not feel pressured to do so. This is a must see when in Ho Chi Minh.
