If you wish an amazing tour, scenic, terrific and nearly out of this world, this is the ideal excursion to take while staying in Sorrento or also as a shore tour from Naples port. Amalfi Coast is what you are looking for. The drivers all speak a very fluent English and can provide you not only the safest journey, but also some interesting facts and info all the way. The tour lasts about 9 hrs and it includes the following itinerary. Positano, Amalfi and Ravello.

It is considered to be the pearl of the divine coast for its vertical architecture developed on the slopes of a steep cliff overlooking a magnificent emerald colour sea. Steps and steps everywhere round the small centre full of colourful shops selling all the most different local products: clothes, ceramics and the delicious local cakes. Its parish church dominates the whole village with a magnificent majolica tiles paved dome. The drive starts with the most impressive view over the Bay of Salerno, the winding road is full of delightful corners for photo stops and charming outlook over the most splendid emerald coloured sea. Positano bites deep. It is a dream place that isn’t quite real when you are there and becomes beckoningly real after you have gone. Its houses climb a hill so steep it would be a cliff except that stairs are cut in it. I believe that whereas most house foundations are vertical, in Positano they are horizontal.

Certainly the most famous town of the coast for its glorious past having been the oldest maritime republic and still preserving monuments proving it, like the Duomo, the remains of the arsenal and one of the oldest Italian paper factory. Also considered the mother land of Flavio Gioia the presumed inventor of the sea compass. The town centre is worth of a visit also for shopping purposes.

The town of Ravello is for sure the best place where to leave the crowds and where to enjoy the quiet of a village, where most of the historical centre is still untamed, and still recalling the magnificence of the grand private residences once belonging to the most important local noble families. The most famous of them is opened to the public “villa Rufolo”, dating back to 11th century, belonged to the family with the same name and in the 19th century sheltered Richard Wagner, who was inspired by the beauty of its gardens and the views for the composition of the 2nd act of its Parsifal. One more too, is worth of visiting, though 15 min. walk from the main square, Villa Cimbrone*.

I highly recommend this tour. Our family of four (2 adult children) had the most amazing day and evening touring Amalfi, Ravello and Positano with Roberto. We had the perfect amount of time to explore each town on our own. Roberto gave us recommendations for what to see and where to eat and even made us a dinner reservation for a meal we will never forget. Grazie Mille!

Everything was superlative. From our departure from Castellamare di Stabia, where Roberto picked us up, the trip itself to all the towns on the Coast, Amalfi, Positano, Ravello, the villas with amazing views, and in the evening Roberto made us a reservation at a very beautiful restaurant, with a beautiful view of Vesuvius and the sea, and the food was delicious. We definitely recommend them to all our friends and family.

We had a wonderful day with our driver Mauro! We used Sorrento as our base and he drove us to Ravello, Positano and Almafi. Thank you for being such a great driver and showing us the Amalfi coast!

The private service travelling along the Almalfi coast is unbelievable. The driver we had, Francesco, was unbelievably friendly, funny and so knowledgeable. The experience was once in a life time, with MANY stops along the way for a swim, walk around, shop, eat and photos. I would 100% recommend this to anyone travelling Italy. Definitely do this instead of catching buses!

The owner Luisa was flexible with our pick up time in Naples since we were returning from a cruise that morning. Our driver Odilia was a blast. Our group was 4 adults and 2 children in a private luxury SUV.
We had ample time to thoroughly visit Positano , Amalfi and Ravello . We had a terrific lunch up in Ravello and was delighted to see a wedding service at the church in the piazza. Odilia was an expert on navigating the twisty roads and took no sass from any drivers. She truly made our visit exceptional. I highly recommend
this service to anyone looking for a stress less and beautiful experience.

My family and I had a great tour with Sorrento Silver Star Tours. We did booked a day trip to Amalfi, Ravello and Positano. Luisa , the owner was great. She was flexible on what and where we want to go.We were picked up and dropped in the train station which was less stress for us. The van was comfortable and clean. Our driver/ tour guide , Mauro was great and informative.I will definitely use them again and would love to refer to my friends and family.Again thank you so much!
