On Ghost City's Ghosts of Liberty Tour, you will see Haunted Charleston in a completely new way. You will view the Holy City through the paranormal lens of those who risked life and limb for Charleston and the birth of a nation. Combining aspects of Charleston's famous ghost stories with the lesser-known haunted tales of the Holy City, the Ghosts of Liberty Tour is a never before seen glimpse at the ghosts of Charleston who, while living, fought so valiantly to keep the city united.
If you have 10 or more guests in one group, please get in touch with the private & group sales coordinator for additional availability.

Stories were too long and we didn't get to see as much as we expected. We also had quite a few kids on our tour and they were allowed to ask too many questions and it felt like a kids field trip.

Great walking tour. Michael was an engaging storyteller, sharing not only ghost stories, but also the wonderful history of Charelston.

We liked the dungeon story, Sue Howard Hardy and Lavinia Fisher. Marina was great, funny and inclusive to everyone on the tour.

Our guide was a fun storyteller. Cool experience learning about some of the Charleston ghosts.
We also learned some interesting facts about Charleston on the walk.

There were almost 30 people in the group, which was just too many. It started at 20ish people, but then more joined late(their family/friends were already with the group). The guide was fine, but I was expecting a bit more

Tour guide was exceptionally soft spoken and lacked historical knowledge. Our group was also 30 people big, making it difficult to maintain.

Despite the very wet weather, tour was great and guide was super interesting (and super wet) and provided a great glance at the ghostly history of Charleston. 5-stars!
