The goal of this day trip is to take you away from the hustle and bustle of Barcelona and, to let you enjoy the Mediterranean breeze. This experience has been designed for the outdoors, art, and nature lovers.
As soon as we leave Barcelona we immerse ourselves in the Catalan countryside. The first stop is Girona (Game of Thrones?). A perfect mix of history, architecture, and...food! We will take a nice stroll through the narrow streets of the Old Town and the Roman Walls.
Right after we will move into the Catalan Countryside, we deserve to be surrounded by nature. The second stop is Peratallada, probably the most charming and less-known medieval village in the Empordà region. A nice stroll around and a few pictures later we will take you for lunch at Calella de Palafrugell, an old fishing village formed by several coves that still preserve the charm of the villages of the area, with narrow streets and some traditional two-floor fishermen’s dwellings.

Meeting point and drive from Barcelona to Girona

Built circa 1877 and perhaps the most famous bridge in Girona made by Mister Eiffel, yes the same one of the Eiffel Tower. We will walk over the bridge on our way to the old town.

One of the most famous Game Of Thrones locations in the Girona old town today part of the Girona university. We will stop here for a few minutes to take pictures and to enjoy the views.
4.
The second widest gothic nave in the world built in the 1733. We will walk up towards the gothic side of the Catedral on our way to the watch tower.
5.
One of the 12 wine regions in Catalonia. Drive from Girona to Peratallada. Scenic drive surrounded by lot of green and agriculture.
6.
One of the most magical and better-preserved medieval villages in Spain located in the hearth of Catalonia with a population of 9. We will show you the village around.
7.
Drive from Peratallada to Calella de Palafrugell into a secondary road with a lot of agricolture.
8.
An old fisherman village located in the heart of Costa Brava. We will provide you 2 hours free time to go for lunch and a swim.
9.
The Tuscany of Spain, drive back from Costa Brava to Barcelona takes approximately 2 hours

Spent the day with the family on a day trip to Girona & Costa Brava. Our host Antoine was superb. He was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We have three young children aged between 6 - 12 and they all enjoyed the day. Highly recommend.

Really nice getaway after two days in Barcelona. It was raining quite heavily when we left Barcelona but the sun started to pierce through the cloud once we adventured into the Catalan countryside. Girona old town was amazing for strolling through. Coasta Brava reminded our kids of the Disney cartoon Luca with crystal clear med sea water with beautiful villages at the backdrop. Daniel our guide is super knowledgeable and attentive throughout the trip. Highly recommend the trip for anyone, particularly families with children or teens, who wanna explore a bit further beyond Barcelona.

All three stops were amazing! Our guide Carlos was friendly and informative and gave great recommendations for food and sightseeing at every stop. It was a great way to see Girona and Costa Brava effortlessly on a day trip from Barcelona. The coffee and pastry in Girona was a great start to the day. The recommended gelato stop in Peratallada was delicious, as was the lunch by the beach on the final stop. Would highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our small group tour to Girona/ Costa Brava!
Danny was the perfect tour guide. He was very knowledgeable, passionate about teaching his guests about his country and just all around fun!
We had a perfect group of 6 people - so much nicer then a big busload! Highly recommend!

The tour was great, the guides were very professional, nice and knowledgeable.
Would highly recommend it. The places they took us were breathtakingly beautiful.
They even took us to a place where there were scenes made for Game of Thrones.
We traveled in a nice comfortable van just for our family group so it fell like a private tour.
You will not be disappointed.

Carlos was a great tour guide. He took our small group to some beautiful spots and the whole trip felt personal and relational with a relaxed vibe and a welcome relief from other tourists. Great information, beautiful sights wherever you look, and a fantastic spot at the ocean. One of my best tours so far in Europe.
