The Perito Moreno Glacier Tour Safari Azul is the ideal option for those who want to get to know the Perito Moreno Glacier from up close. You can choose the option with transfers from El Calafate or get to the port in your own vehicle. During 20 minutes you will sail along the Brazo Rico of Lake Argentino, walk for 30 minutes through the Patagonian forest until you reach the ice of the glacier itself (you do not walk on the ice) where you will have some free time to enjoy this moment and return walking along the same path. The return boat tour is done in front of the south wall of the Perito Moreno Glacier. In addition, the option with transfers includes a visit to the footbridges of Perito Moreno before returning to El Calafate.

WHAT TO EXPECT

- Pick up in El Calafate: If you have selected the pick-up option, you will be picked up at your accommodation in El Calafate at the assigned time. Once the whole group is together, you will head to Los Glaciares National Park. - Meeting and boarding Puerto Bajo Las Sombras: If you have selected the option without pick-up, you will have to make your own way to Puerto Debajo de Las Sombras, inside Los Glaciares National Park. Once here, you will take a boat to cross Lago Rico. After sailing for about 20 minutes, you will disembark on the opposite shore of the glacier.

- Hike along the opposite shore of the Perito Moreno Glacier: The hike begins, always with a view of the south face of the glacier. Be careful! There may be some ice detachment. Take out your camera and photograph that image of intense and varied blues and whites and the shapes of the glacier. - When you arrive next to the glacier wall, you will have free time to enjoy the moment and take some pictures. Afterwards, you return to the boat by the same route. [The hike lasts an hour and a half through a natural terrain of sand and stones with some slopes and stairs]

- If you have booked the option without pick-up in El Calafate, the tour ends when you return to the port. However, we recommend that you take advantage of the fact that you are only 7km away from the Perito Moreno footbridges to visit them. - If you have selected the option with pick up, once at the port, you will take the bus to the Perito Moreno footbridges. Take advantage of these two hours to have lunch and enjoy the incredible panoramic view of the Perito Moreno Glacier
4.
- Return to El Calafate: After having spent the day seeing the glacier, you will take the bus back to El Calafate. The Perito Moreno Glacier Blue Safari tour will end around 5:00 p.m., depending on the assigned time.
