My criticism does not attach to the particular boat trip, circumnavigation of the island and brief swimming experience that we purchased but to the overall lunacy of undertaking a trip in July or August to this highly overrated and overrun island. From the intense flotilla activity that bombards the island daily, the constant flight for limited transport and service facilities and the overall feeling that you are emerging from the most crowded soccer match in memory comes the realisation that it is generally not worth the effort. When you later encounter the two hour queues for boats to enter the Blue Grotto you will get some satisfaction if you are fortunate to be one of those that did not book this adventure.
The place cannot cope and you would be wise not to undertake any tour in peak season.

This Amazing Team made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived at the Port of Massa Lubrense. Our experience on board was stunning, we were taken care of from start to finish for our wonderful Cruise of this beautiful coast of Amalfi, Capri and other adjoining Islands of this coast. Every time we go to ITALIA my wife (Alessandra La Via) and I choose another one of there cruises. Communication is excellent, always making sure that our safety is the upmost concern for Pietro, who has made sure that the sea conditions are as perfect as possible to make us feel comfortable and secure.
