We booked this day trip with my partner during our stay in Sharm El Sheikh.
Booking: easy, straightforward
Communication: we encountered a little bump because of our visa requirements with the organiser.
Travel: flight, if you're a smoker then DO NOT take lighters (or a really cheap one) as on internal flights you aren't allowed to take on the plane
We got pick up shortly after 5am, and been taken to the airport. At the check-in desk the clerk said we will need to acquire a different stamp to accompany our e-visas(we've printed those just in case) went to customs, got the correct stamp(free of charge). Took off to Cairo-fast amd hassle-free flight.
In Cairo we've met our guide (English and German speaking as our group was mixed like that-11 in total), a funny fella named Fahme.(chilled water supply for the whole day)
Off to the Museum of Egypt for opening (9am), entry included in the package. Several hours in there then a short drive through the city to grab lunch. The restaurant wasn't busy so we could get a table and food(buffet-style) straight away-drinks not included though.
After lunch we made our way to the main attractions-the Great Pyramids of Giza(clear view to them from the restaurant) and the Sphinx. Hours and hours in the sun around all 3 monuments-small breaks back in the mini bus, camel or carriage ride(extra fee), tremendous amount of information(and jokes) from Fahme.
After Giza, a short visit to one of the fragrance and oil market where we were welcomed with refreshments and the option to purchase their authentic oil followed by final stop-the Nile river boat cruise-extra fee of 10USD but we didn't mind as it was a little breezy after being in the heat.
Back to the airport where we went through 3security check and at the last one we got freed from our lighters 😅 -not allowed on domestic flights. Oh well.
The day was well worth it even though it seemed busy and fast-paced, but Fahme made sure that we've had a fantastic time. He's a gem and definitely deserves a recognition.
All in all: I DO recommend this trip

Fantastische Betreuung , Absolut Top. Bester Reiseführer mit einem mega Wissen auch und gerade über das alte Agypten. Mann hatte ausreichend Zeit um alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu besichtigen und Tolle Bilder zu machen. Kann ich zu 100 Prozent nur weiterempfehlen. 10 Sterne. Danke noch mal an das Team. Beim nächsten Urlaub buchen wir über euch Luxor.

We had an amazing day visiting Cairo, especially thanks to Saber. From pick up to drop off at the airport, everything was communicated very well and with ease.
Saber had amazing knowledge of all areas visited and delivered with enthusiasm. As well as this he showed great hospitality and kept us entertained the whole day. He allowed lunch and dinner to be eaten at the perfect times. A day that was worth well travelling for!

Most amazing trip!
Got picked up from our hotel in Sharm at 5am,we went to the airport from there and our bus driver was very helpful with anything we needed,once landed in Cairo we met our tour guide (Raafat)
He was the most kind and most helpful guid we could have asked for.
When we got in the transfer after meeting him at the hotel he offered us all water,we never went sort of water!
Our first visit was the museum, raafat showed us around and explained everything to us then gave us an extra 20 minutes at the end to walk around ourselves and to take as many photos as we wanted and to have a nosey in the gift shop.
After this we went to the river Nile for a 30 minute boat ride.
After this we then went for lunch.
After this we went to the pyramids, Raafat was so helpful here especially with his knowledge but also with the locals making sure we never got scammed especially when we went for a camel ride.
After the pyramids we went to the locals to see how they made perfume,during the trip we also visited a shop where they shown us how to make the Egyptian paper. After the trip we had a spare 1.5 hours before travelling back to the airport so we decided to go the Mall in Cairo.
With Raafat he brought his son/nephew along with him,he was also great we couldn’t thank them enough.

The experience was seamless from start to finish - the only thing that wasn't made clear was that a visa will have to be purchased for Cairo beforehand.
The plane ride there and back were only 55 mins so was much better than taking an 8 hour coach.
I want to highlight Ahmed who was excellent from start to finish. He explained everything we needed to know and also answered any questions we had. He was patient with everyone but also gave us time to do/see what we like for as long as we wanted. He couldn't have described and educated us any better than he did - probably the best tour guide we've ever had.
Thank you for a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend.

Super organization, maximum punctuality and precision in everything! A special mention goes to our guide, Saber. Egyptologist and university professor, of immense competence. He was able to make our experience in Cairo wonderful, thanks above all to his kindness and friendliness!

Wonderful trip, all organized down to the smallest detail, our guide Sabor was wonderful, a professional and very knowledgeable Egyptologist, he told us wonderful anecdotes and curiosities! Always available and smiling, he made us have a wonderful day, the camel ride and the Nile cruise were highly recommended. Sa bor also danced with us on the ship an amazing dancer!

We took the excursion from Sharm to Cairo by plane and we had a very good time both in terms of organization before the trip and during the trip.
Being a private tour (4 pax), the flight times were agreed with the organizer, we received a payment link and immediately after the flight tickets.
The transfers were very punctual, we never waited a minute, they gave us help and fast track to the airport for the visa, and the guide at Carico, Benedetto, was absolutely very professional and nice at the same time.
We were also offered a quick dinner before leaving for Sharm although not due based on the services offered. Excellent value for money.
We recommend everyone to do this excursion with Book Tour Egypt!
