First of all, we did not do a tour but visited the museum only. This museum is outstanding. The displays are wonderful. They explain how Belfast was chosen, for building this great ship, and spent a lot of effort on the planning and the key people involved. 9 men died on the building site and many more were injured. At the time , there was not the safety regulations we have today. As the museum progresses they explain why the ship struck the iceberg, it was a series of events that could have been prevented. The last part honors the people who died, you see their names displayed on the wall . If you are in Ireland, take the train to Belfast to see this wonderful museum of the Titanic

We visited the museum and were impressed. The architecture alone is impressive. The variety between murals and videos - great. We bought tickets in advance from the sidelines, but it wasn't necessary, there were several cash registers and you didn't have to queue. It's a shame that the tickets bought online had to be exchanged for printed ones at the cash register. There was no mention of the audio guide anywhere, not even at the cash register, so we went back down to the foyer to borrow audio guides (for a fee). In other museums they are included and for a good €29 you would expect that. But whatever, it was worth it, the exhibition was very entertaining, we were there for just over 3 hours and thought it was great. However, we were a little disappointed with the included visit to the Nomadic next door.

The Titanic experience (ie the museum) is excellent. I booked the discovery tour too which initially i thought was a mistake but in actual fact it was really good. The tour guides obviously know their subject, but it’s a real knack to make the subject come alive again and again! Included was to go onboard SS Nomadic, a short walk away - also really interesting. Overall we were there 7 hours!!

An incredible tour from start to finish. Such thought has gone into the design of the building and surrounding area that links in and tells of the amazing history of the White Star shipbuilding and the Titanic.
The last room is a very moving experience and beautifully created to remember the ship and all those lost.

Group of 6 of us. We enjoyed the museum spent roughly 2-3 hours here. There was a lot of information to read and take in. Could do with more monuments and artefacts. We particularly liked the ride inside which we had not heard about before! That was a great experience. We took a lot of photos and even got to search if any of our relatives had been on the titanic. I wouldn't go back to the museum by choice but it was definitely interesting and something worth seeing.

An absolutely fantastic museum! Everything was so well thought out from the structure of the museum itself to the exhibitions. I would recommend the museum to everyone. The museum covered the history of Belfast and shipbuilding and the Titanic itself - from the launch right through to the discovery of the wreckage. Be prepared for some potential tears as you learn more about the people on the Titanic and the aftermath of the sinking. I would probably go as far as saying this is the best museum I’ve visited. I had an audio guide which I would recommend.

They call it the "Titanic Experience." Unfortunately our experience was not good. High price compared to the service offered. You only see photographs and some sets of LED lights. The floor that allows you to see the images of the Titanic are those that have been shown on TV in any documentary. If you do not speak English, the cost of admission does not include a translator. I would not go back.

Disclosure: of course I'm familiar with the story of the Titanic but I'm not a huge fan or have an overwhelming obsession like many do.

Having said that, the Titanic Museum is a wonderful place to spend a couple of hours whilst in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The architecturally fascinating building is huge. The way you're lead into and through the facility is quite exciting and full of amazing historical lessons. Knowing you are on the actual site of where this legendary ship was built is humbling.

Well conceived and a must see when in Belfast.

Just amazing. Brings the story to life in way that has you in awe of the engineering and craftsmanship alongside the poignancy of the ships final hours and the tragic loss of life.
